Death

Scarlet and Ella began Traveling again after waking up and eating.

The time the girls were spending together was pricless and both had something new growing inside.

The town they were in was huge but little populated. Ella was walking real close to Scarlet but Scarlet didn't mind in bit. Getting a room in a hotel the girls went to explore and find the Nomass creatures before they found the girls.

Hours went by and not even a single clue came up on where the nomass were coming from inside the town.

"God these freaken monsters are so annoying" Scarlet yelled kicking a brick wall.

Ella shifted uncomfortablely. "Y-ya...annoying." her eyes trailed down away from Scarlet. She noticed that Ella was acting diffrent.

"El...are you alright?" She used a nickname that Scarlet had been thinking was adorable for Ella.

"Yes I'm fine don't worry" Ella replied not wanting to put a burden of worry on Scarlet. Scarlet didn't buy that but didn't want to make Ella think that she was prying.

"So where to now?' Ella asked Scarlet with a smile in her face.

Scarlet thought. "Lets go to that opened feild of dead grass." She suggested. Ella agreed with her.

So heading off Ella hummed a tune.

"What cha humming bout?" Asked Scarlet.

Ella replied with, "A song I remeber from long ago I think. It goes like,

Ella sang so beautifully. Scarlet clapped.

"It sounded so lovly. May I sing it with you?" Scarlet said before she had time to take it back.

"Of cours." Ella smiled and took a deep breath. Then they began to sing.

Right in the middle of the song though a humungus Nomass appeard in front of them. Scarlet got in a battle stance while Ella went behind her a bit her hands cupped ready to make and ice popcicle out of the big guy.

The Nomass roared and charged at them. Scarlet let a lighting strik it. But the Nomass came out unharmed. Ella blew an icy wind with frost covering anything in its path. Yet the creature just brushed it off.

Both of the girls focused on not getting clawed by this Nomasses huge claws. Because if the claws scratched you even if only a little, Certain Death and no returning as far as anyone knew. One tenticle like arm swung at Scarlet while the claws aimed for Ella. Quickly dodging both of the girls landed back to back fighting off the damn thing. Then a tenticle came flying and hit Scarlet in the back if the head that sent her flying. Ella yelled out Scarlets name in worry as Scarlet fell to the ground and struggled to get up.

Claws came crashing down to Scarlet. And as if the worls was in slow motion Ella's instincts kicked in and racing toward her only friend she intercepted the impart that would befall Scarlet.

Pained erupted on Ella's Back as she stood looming over Scarlet. Scarlet looked up.

"Ella??!!" Scarlet screamed shocked and fearful.

Blood soaked Ella's back and began dripping off.

"Hey Scar!" Ella smiled impressed with her nickname for her friend. The nomass screeched and held its head in pain then dissapeard.

"S-sorry Scarlet...but I won't be able to travel with you any longer..." Ella coughed up blood.

"Ella...no.no.noo you said you would come with me...please don't leave me....PLEASE!!!" Scarlet begged as tears eacaped. Ella began to fall and Scarlet caught her and held her tight.

"Don't leave me El..."

"You know Scar...when hit by the claws of the Nomass, there is no real death...your body becomes tiny particles in the air till the Nomass is killed by its own claws. Then the body and soul come back in place of the Nomass..." Ella laughed a bit.

"How do you know that?" Scarlet asked thinking Ella was going crazy.

"Because..remember I told you I was born in Acnalogia with the Nomass. I know everything about them..."

Scarlet Gasped and looked Ella strait in the eye. "I can save you?" She asked hoping this was true.

Ella nodded her head. Then as if the timing couldn't be worse Ella began to glow and her body flaked off and dissapeard... "Scarlet..before I'm the air I have something to tell you...I--I falling in love with you..please don't forget me. I'll always be with you even if I'm not physically.

Goodbye..Scarlet" Ella grinned and then she was gone.

Scarlet blinked shocked. "E---Ella...?" Then she cryed. After 8 years of never crying here she was bawling like a little girl over a girl she just randomly met.
