A/N - I hope this is at least kinda enjoyable. 😂 This is gonna be a short Chapter so you are tortured less.
I went along with, even though I was pretty sure it was a bad idea. I set an alarm for 5am, we finished putting the diaries back it the box. I emptied my school bag, putting in food and the papers from the diaries we needed. We ate some leftovers and went to bed. When we got up in the morning, I picked up my backpack and we started walking. We walked to the train station and it took us halfway. Then we were back on foot, again. It took us a few hours until we found the field Macy was talking about. We passed a car on the way that wasn't very far away. It was late afternoon by now. It was darker than normal, foggy and looked like it was going to rain. We couldn't see much, so I took us a minute to find the barn she was talking about. That's where they were hiding something. If I was right that's where Macy's Uncle Thomas was. It was falling apart and there were no more the doors. They looked like they were ripped off. There I saw something... no... someone?
"W-who is that?!" Amber whisper yells. It didn't respond and slowing walked closer and behind a tree, at the edge of the field with the dirt road behind me. Amber followed me and the person started walking. They didn't see us, they kept walking closer towards dirt road and us. Then I saw that familiar face with that same worried look as always. "It's... Macy?!" I whispered, finally answering Ambers question for earlier. She looked older and like she hasn't got much sleep in awhile. Her hair was short now and a mess. She wearing a grey jacket with the hood up and some messed up jeans.
