A/N - Sorry this story is so short. This is the last chapter but I hoped you enjoyed it.

"Ok... so you put the key-" David started to explain to me how to work the car, from the passenger seat, but I shushed him. "I know how to do it!" I yelled at him in a playful way, putting my seatbelt on. Ally laughed from the backseat and David lean back in his seat, crossed his arms and smiled. He watched me start the car. I backed up the car and easily got out the parking lot, surprising Ally and David. I was laughing at their surprise and looked back at Ally. When I looked back around, there stood Jason. It all clicked in my mind as I starred into those beep blue eyes I haven't seen in years. I could see the fear in his eyes as he took his last breathes. We stared into each other's eyes and I couldn't stop the car fast enough.
Jason. An old family friend. He used to be one of my best friends. I didn't see him for years, when he moved away. He was such a good person. So caring, funny, unique. Jason could make anyone laugh, could be friends with everyone and never judged anyone. Before he moved away he said that he would call me, since he had my house phone number. Or at least he thought he did. I gave it to him on a piece of paper the last time we hung out. He never needed my number because we lived right next to each other. But a few days after I found that piece of paper on the floor. My parents lost contact with his family and we never heard from them again. I learned later that he moved back a few weeks before and that was his first day in my school... and I made it his last.
It all made sense now. HE was the one that hi said to me in the hall. HE was sitting in that group of people David called weird and I agreed. HE was the one that mumbled "I'm just one of the weird ones." HE was the one that called out my name and I ignored. That familiar voice was him all along. That guy in the hall I couldn't put a name to and I decided not to help... was him. But I didn't pay attention and now I'm the reason he's gone.
