Third Person POV
"HERMIONE" everyone yells trying to catch up with her then when they get outside fred grabs her arm forcing her to stop and face the group....
harry,ron,neville,luna,George,fred look at her with curious in their eyes and ginny just look at her with pity "why did you run from us when katie kissed me?!" fred half shouts his voice cracking and hermione just looks away not being able to face him "because you two aren't together and she shouldn't have kissed you!" hermione shouts tears threatening to spill "why do you care if she kissed me or not!" fred shouts back and she finally wips around to face him "BECAUSE I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU!!!" she shouts as she burst in to tears "t-there n-n-ow you k-know!"
Fred POV
"BECAUSE I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU!!!" hermione shouts at me and freeze *w-wait s-she loves me back!* then she burst in to tears "t-there n-n-ow you k-know!" and she turns and starts running and i immediately start to chase after her....
Hermione POV
i shout and i see their shocked faces *great now their going to hate me!! i=i cant s-stand it anymore* i start running away from them and i can hear someone chasing after me calling my name "HERMIONE WAIT!! PLEASE!!" i'd recognize that voice anywhere "GO AWAY FREDRICK!" i yell not stopping running and i can see out of the corner of my eye fred stop for breath and i took this chance to run even faster, i dont know where im running but i cant bring myself to stop in fear that fred is still chasing me...awhile later i come to a river and sit down on the edge and transfigure a rock into a map and see that im halfway to diagon alley *wow i ran that far?!* i think to myself then i turn my dress into a pair of sweat pants and a jacket with a plain shirt underneath it and i see its already morning and the sun is rising....
Fred POV
i stop one second for breath and before i can blink she's gone and while i make my way back to the group i cant help but think its my fault because i yelled at her pretty much forcing her to tell me....im so stupid...i minuet later im back and the ball has ended and everyone's sitting on the ground in the same exact spot they where when i ran after hermione and when they see me they stand up fast enough to give themselves whiplash "i-i couldn't s-stop her...she r-ran to f-fast" i say holding back tears but george being my twin he could tell i was about to cry and came over and hugged me "let it out forge" he said and i couldn't hold it anymore and cried into his shoulder. everyone came over and hugged me and told me it wasn't my fault and by then it was almost curfew so we went back to our dorms ready to go to bed and knowing she wouldn't be back for awhile
*the next day at breakfast (still fred pov)*
it was morning when everyone was in the great hall eating i used my wand to make my voice louder and went to the entrance to the hall "i have an announcement" i say my voice really loud and everyone turns to me and i take a deep breath "hermione granger has.....run away" i say and everyone but harry,ginny,ron,george,neville,and luna gasp and look at me in terror even the slytherins and mcgonagall shushes everyone down and tells us all she will send out a search party...
