He could have any girl in the town but somehow he chose her. There was a certain charm in the Bulgarian girl living in England. Angeline was her name, but she wanted to be called Ava. Klaus had laughed at her. She some how reminded him of his human days. She had a strict father, he wasn't kind to her but then again Angeline had already had a child at a very young age. Though everyone called her a cunt and a whore she was nothing like that. Angeline was kind, beautiful and everything Klaus felt like he didn't deserve.

Last night he had yet again tried to drive her away, but it was useless. Ava was now at his door. He heard her nervous beating heart. He heard her every breath. She was afraid.

Knock, knock, knock. They were now faster and Klaus heard another voice, it was yelling for Angeline. Klaus used his fast vampire speed to get to the door quickly. The small castle was no exception in his collection of beautiful places to live. It truly was an amazing place.

Klaus opened the door only to face Angeline's teary amber eyes and a panic filled face. Angeline's dark dress was ripped and she jumped in his arms. Her warm embrace made Klaus embrace her back and spot the danger she was running from; her father. He yelled in Bulgarian, he was angry with her.

"Klaus please take me with you. I can't bare the thought of dying alone in this miserable spitting image of a town."

Angeline talked quickly in her british accent. Klaus pet her hair and eyed her father who was now coming up the stairs to the door.

"Niklaus Mikaelson my daughter has become your whore! If you want to take her you need pay me. Angeline is not free, every man in this town desire to fuck her." His words made Niklaus angry. How dare he speak like that of his own daughter? The memories of Klaus' stepfather, Mikael got in his mind. He was the same pathetic person, wanting his pride over his flesh and blood.

"I desire nothing more to give you what you deserve, sir," Klaus said. He felt Angeline's warm tears water his shirt. He pulled Angeline out of his embrace and lifted her eyes by her chin.

"You needn't be afraid my love, your father will have his payment." Klaus smirked and moved Angeline to the side. Her father was scowling Angeline and waiting for his money.

"How do I know you will keep your promise, my lord?" her father raised his black grey brow. Niklaus chuckled and smirked unhumanly.

"You'll know."

Niklaus let out a low growl and sped to the man. He struck his fangs on his neck and bit it roughly taking in the blood that soon his head dropped to the ground along his body and rolled down the stairs.

A faint scream escaped from Angeline's lips but a relief flowed through her. She was finally free of him. Finally free.

Present

Ava took exactly three steps back and dropped her bag. God damnit he still had that affect on her. The flashback of that night he killed her father was still on her mind. Klaus was there, right in front of her and she failed to react. Her amber eyes first looked at his appearance. He looked just like she remembered the last time she saw him; in 1920s. Short hair, blue eyes and a classy style.

"Niklaus," Ava was able to mumble. "It has been a long time."

Ava needed to push aside her fear and she curled a smirk on her face. Ignoring her purse that was now on the ground she tilted her head and arched her other brow. "Did you come here to buy me dinner? Because I'm afraid I don't really have any time to wait for you to kill me, so do it now."

Klaus frowned and glared around the bar, looking confused. It confused Ava. Why would he not kill her now. After all these years. In his long sleeved light shirt and dark jeans. He stepped forward and Ava heard him growl low.

"Niklaus!" the dark voice that belonged to the suited original said. "Do not harm her."

Klaus rolled his eyes and glanced at his brother. What was Elijah thinking? That he would rip Ava's heart out in a second. "I won't, do you seriously think that low of me?"

"Yes, infact I do," Ava crossed her hands and folded them over her chest. Images of Klaus ripping out the only man, besides him, she had loved hearts out and giving her a headt start to run. Ava loved Jack with all of her heart, and now Jack was gone. Forever. "You killed Jack, Klaus. I will never be able to forgive you that. How do I know you won't do the same thing to me?"

"You can call it the deal with the Devil if you like," Klaus smirked and caused Ava have chills. Jack still span in her mind and she could feel Klaus peak into her mind in which she frowned and looked him angry.

"Oh come on, he was just a human." Klaus' roll of eyes made Ava boil with anger.

"I loved him."

"Well pity him, I'm sure he loved you as well. Poor human was begging to kill him instead of you. Truly pathetic the way he loved you. Turns out you told him everything about me and you. He was a loose end. I can't have loose ends." Klaus face didn't turn or twitch. He just stated it as a fact. Ava was insults away of collapsing to the ground and just crying. She bit her lip and swallowed the pain.

"At least I can be loved," Ava whispered as she picked up her bag from the floor and headed to the door. Ava pushed Klaus slightly with her shoulder as she stepped out of the building. It left Klaus wondering.

1959

"Jack I'm home!" Ava yelled cheerfully as she threw her keys in the key bowl. A sudden good smell got into her nose and a smile spred onto her face. She followed the delicious smell into the kitchen. Ava didn't enter it; she looked at Jack as he cooked. Everything was kind of burning up and he had his hands full, but she leaned on the suburban house wall and watched him.

"Hey," she was finally able to mouth out. Jack turned his head to her and smiled goofily.

"Hey," he responded.

Ava hadn't felt so loved ever. And how a human could love a monster and a flawed person just like that. She adored him and he adored her. They were a perfect match.

Present

The Salvatore boarding house was more depressing that Ava could've ever imagined. She threw her bag to the hall and walked lazy inside. The bookshelves almost looked like they were falling on her, crushing her. Maybe it would be for good, the crushing part, she wouldn't have to bare Niklaus anymore. And she'd finally be reunited with Jack. Or would she? Jack wasn't a vampire when he turned so would they ever meet in after life?

Probably not.

And that made Ava cry.
