Chapter2 dtd 04.04.2019
"I am sorry Khushi. I can't help you in this. You know Arnav right. I don't think he will melt with these silly tricks you suggest. The sorry card or another dinner plan . Nope. Anyways, I don't have time for all this. He has given me loads of work to complete before time. From morning he is bursting like volcano. Now I know the reason. I just don't want to be on the receiving end. So excuse me out of this."
Before Khushi could say something Aman hung up. She tried again and heard the line busy message.
Then Arush called Aman from his number Even though Aman didn't pick up the phone, Arush got a message saying , "champ, I really cannot help you this time. Your snob dad is over the limits. When you know how arrogant he is and won't take your pranks as it is, why did you do it?"
Arush messaged back. "I never knew as nothing like this happened before between us. Ever. Please help. "
Then Arush send a crying emoticon. Then also no reply came from Aman's side.
But Arush is also ASR. He knows to turn things in his favour. So he did that in which his dad has got a gold medal in Phd. He threatened Aman.
" If you don't help us, then I will do something such that Love will kick you out of the room and may be even from your house. I guess you know who you are dealing with."
Aman clearly saw the smirk Arush might had while sending the message. That little devil!! Truely ASR's child. I know very well how the little devil's mind works. He immediately called back.
"I'll do something. Okay. I will think of something. Just give me some time to solve the work first otherwise your dad is not gonna spare me. Please Aru.." Aman pleaded.
"Okay. We are waiting." With that Arush kept the phone. He turned to an amused Khushi who just heard how Aru danced Aman on his finger.
He is really something. Khushi thought.
"Work done Khushi. Mr.Thor will help us. You just relax."
Evening.
Arnav came inside. He ignored both his favourite people and went straight to his room.
"He didn't like the bouquet we send?" Arush doubted. "It even had his favourite tulips.""Ya that too purple ones." Khushi said.
"Still no response?"
They rang up Aman.
"You told he kept the bouquet and didn't threw it aside."
"Ya." Aman replied."So? What does that mean? He is still ignoring us."
"It's a positive sign. At least he kept it and not threw it into the dustbin. ""Aman. Don't try to act smart okay. Help us." Khushi whinned.
"Comeon Khushi you both are his favourite people existing on earth's surface. He will melt."
He continued."Khushi, he might have felt so hurt from you both pretending to be angry with him when you both were at fault. So he needs some time to forgive you. Give him some space, he will come back eventually to you both."
"And we want that eventually to happen very fast ASAP." The duo replied impatiently.
Arush then heard Arnav's door clicking.
"Aunty dad is coming keep the phone." Khushi hurrily kept the phone.Ignoring them Arnav went to the kitchen. He took his coffee and went to the backyard. He then leaned back on his chair and sipped his coffee.Arush and Khushi came after him and saw him.
They both went to him and stood infront of of him looking curiously at him. Waiting for any kind of response from him. But after finishing his coffee, Arnav leaned back an closed his eyes.
"Dad?"
Arush called him hesitating."Hmm" he hummed out of habit.
Phew.. Arush and Khushi left out the breath they were holding up.
They both kneeled down on his either side and held his each hand. "We are sorry.." the duo said together.
He still didn't opened his eyes. But 'hmm'ed again.
Now what? Khushi questioned Arush through eyes. He shrugged his shoulders in reply."Arnav ... we are really sorry . We won't repeat it again. Right Arush? " Khushi turned to Arush.
"Ya. We promise , Dad."
"Which part? " Arnav opened his eyes and asked the duo.
"Huh? ""I asked which part? The restaurant stunt or your Oscar winning acting?" Arnav narrowed his eyes at them. In return, both smiled sheepishly at him.
"May be a little bit of both." Arush said.
"But we will act more poished when we are out . Will that do? " Khushi finished Arush's sentence."Can't expect any more from you right?"
He asked looking at them. They both shook their heads in denial.
"Okay fine. Do anything just don't ruin my image. And my business. He was an important client guys. " Arnav aaid in displeasure."But he was staring at Khushi." Arush reasoned.
"So?" Arnav didn't understand the point."What do you mean by so?" Arush asked his dad in sharp tone.
How dumb can his dad be. That man was constantly staring at Khushi Aunty. How dare he do that!"Well Khushi is beautiful lady. People will look at her . That's common." Arnav said pointing to Khushi. A hue of red spread on her neck making it's way to her cheeks.
"But Dad... "
"Aru, you too stare if you see something that interests you right? Same is the case. You don't own her. You can't tell others not to look at her. Moreover, just looking at isn't a crime. But if he does something more than that. Then you should react. Had he made Khushi uncomfortable, I personally would have kicked him. But he was just looking. You got the point?" Arnav explained his worked up son.
Maybe. Arush answered while his thoughts went around a particular point.
"By the way Khush, you have got yourself quite a possessive bodyguard here." Arnav chuckled.
"That I have. And I really lovee him."
She said hugging Arush. Arush too hugged her tight.Arnav smiled in content at his sweethearts."So, how about I test you both tonight?" Arnav asked.
"Test?" Khushi asked"Ya. test you to keep your promise. "
Arush and Khushi looked at each other in confusion.
" Dinner out? Tonight? " This time he asked clearly.
"Yeahhhhss..." Both jumped on Arnav and pulled him in a hug.
