Chapter 4 dtd 29.04.2019

Arnav finished his work for the next day also and thus reached RM a bit late. Daima  opened the door for him.

"Where're they?" Arnav enquired about Khushi and Arush as he entered.

"In Arush's room." Daima answered.

"They had their dinner?"

"Yes. And went to bed early. Shall I warm the dinner for you?"

"Yes please. I will be back in 15."
He walked towards Arush's room and found it locked as he expected.

Whenever Khushi stays back in RM, Arush  sleeps with her . But they would wait for him to come back home, would have dinner together, then after having a gala time they go to bed. But today, after morning's argument, he somewhat expected this. They are angry at him.

Let it be. I know how to mellow both of you.
With his trademark smirk he left for his room revising his plan for tomorrow.

"Khushi made Italian pasta today."  Daima said when he came down for dinner.

"Pasta? But they both hate it. We had an argument in the morning and she made my favourite? Something is definitely fishy." Arnav frowned.

"Really? But they both seemed fine to me."

"Hmm" Arnav chewed the bite thoughtfully.

Khushi is definitely upto something to trick me. I gotta implement my plan before they implement theirs. With these thoughts he went to bed.

Next morning.

He woke up around 6 as usual. Instead of going for the jog he went back to sleep with a mischievous smile. He then woke up after sometime but waited on the bed itself. So that someone will come for him to know why he isn't up yet. And then he will start his acting of being sick.
Time passed from minutes to hours. Finally the clock struck 9. None came till now? 
He picked up his phone and dialled to the living. Daima picked it up.
"Daima, where is everyone?"

"Aru and Khushi aren't home. They left to Khushi's."

"Oh." Guess they are very angry with me. And they left to Khushi's apartment. Aru might spend his day with Khushi in hospital. Then how will I implement the plan? DaiMa's voice broke his chain of thoughts.
"Why aren't you up yet? I was about to come to check on you?"

"I will be down soon. "

He dialled Khushi's number. But no one picked up. Uff so much anger ; guess I will have  postpone the acting for later.

After 30 minutes or so he came down in casuals.
"When did they leave?"  Arnav enquired.

"Around 6 in the morning."

"So early? Hmm" Arnav ate his breakfast.

"Arnav they left a letter for you".

Khushi had given a letter to DaiMa to give to Arnav only after he ate his breakfast. Whatever may be the case, Khushi would never play with his health.

We are leaving. See you after the wedding.

" Huh?  DaiMa, where did they go?" A perplexed Arnav asked DaiMa on reading the message.

"You don't know? They left to Lucknow. It is Khushi's cousin's wedding."

"What they left to Lucknow without telling me?.  I had forbid them and they left? How dare they."  He took his phone and dialled Khushi's number. She didn't  picked up this time also. He tried again and again. No answer came. Then he sent her a message to pick the call.  Her message came back.

In train so network issues. We we are fine. Will call you once we reach.

He then called the bodyguard whom he appointed for Arush. " Steve, where are they?"

"Yes ASR, they are in the train.
12004. NDLS LKO SHATABDI EXPRESS.
Departure time 06:10am. Arrival at Lucknow Jn around 12:40pm . It's 521 Km and 06h 30m journey Sir. "

"Ok. Keep and eye on them" Arnav said in his ASRish tone.

" Arush Sir is enjoying his travel. I am in the same compartment as them, Sir."

"Good. Stay around them. Keep them safe. Both are prone to menace. A scratch on them, you are done for life."  Came the ASR's threat.

"Yes Sir. I will keep you posted."

Arnav then dialled Aman.
"Arnav, how is the plan going?" Came an excited voice from Aman.

"Oh trash your plan" Arnav said gritting his teeth.

"Why? what happened?" Aman asked shocked

"They both left for Lucknow even before I woke up."

"What? Where are they now?"
" In the train." Arnav said controlling his anger

"Is Steve around?
" Yeah he is with them."
"Then it is fine."

"Steve can protect them from physical harm not from those mean words."  Arnav said rubbing his temple.

"They will be fine.  Else you too leave for Lucknow. "

"Are you nuts, Mathur? You want to give society more reasons to throw shit on her? Me being there will only increase the problem."

"Then what do we do next?" Aman asked worried for the duo and for Arnav. After years Arnav's happiness is in his reach. These simple problems can complicate his life.
