Chapter 6

Well Hello There Lovelies!! Work has me stressed out. I'm currently sitting in the break room writing this listening to my Ariana Grande Playlist. You thought only Marcus had on?? No Ma'am! 😂 Anyways, Here's Chapter 6! Enjoy! 😘

"So tell me about yourself!" Hunter casually asked. I honestly don't even know where to start. Sometimes I get frustrated when people ask me that because it's a Broad topic. No starting point.

"What do you want to know?" I respond. He looks at me and you can obviously see the wheels turning in his head. "Everything" he says as he takes a sip of his water.

"Okay.. Uhm. My Name is Marcus. I was born and raised here in Long Beach. I didn't really see much of the world even though I would like to. I am about to turn 18 in a few months. After high school, I plan on Going to Harvard law School. Uhh... I don't know what else to say." He laughs at the last part and I can tell he's very interested in my life story.

"How about this? How did you know you were interested into men and not women?" He says. Oh Jeez.

"Well, I thought I was straight. I had 3 girlfriends in Middle school but wasn't really invested in them like the other guys in my school. I just don't know to be honest.. I was Attracted to a few guys that I thought were hot. One of them being the Jock you beat. But after seeing him change after coming to high school, his attitude made him Atrocious. He used to be a sweetheart. We were friends at one point. But once he found out I had a minor crush on him, he would do everything in his power to cause me pain. That's when I joined Karate. So I can defend myself and not worry about being hurt too bad. Wait... what was the question again?" He chuckles to himself.

"You're good. I think I got the Gist of it. You have Gfs, wasn't interested. You had a crush on the most popular guy in school and when he found out you liked him, he hurt you. That's literally every Movie explained right there" he laughed. Wow.. I never really thought of it like a movie. I mean I've seen movies like that just never compared my life to them. "But Harvard, Huh? You must be really smart!" He blurts out. I can't help but face away from him as I feel a blush creeping up on my face.

"4.0 GPA, Straight A's. I've always been a "Try Hard" as some may call it. I've just been interested in Law for a while. I either want to follow in my Aunts Footsteps I'm becoming a Lawyer or a Cop." He smiles at my words.

"Well, now that I know you I feel like you should know what your getting into" my eyes widen but he still continues on. "My Name is Hunter Germinada. As you probably Realized. I had moved all over but when I was 8, we settled here in Long Beach. I never really knew my father. He was always on Business Trips so he was never around. My mother on the other hand, owns her own law firm. Ashley Germinada? You probably heard of her, seeing as you are interested in that field." If my mouth could fall open farther then to the floor, it would. I've always looked up to his mother. She has never Once lost a case! Hunter laughs as he sees me in complete shock.

"Your....your mother.. is Ashley Germinada???" He just nods. "OH MY GOD! I've always looked up to her!" He chuckles.

The Waitress comes back over and asks for out order. I get the T-Bone steak extra Rare with a side of Mushrooms and Fries. Hunter orders the same thing, except his steak to be fully cooked.

"So tell me hunter. What is with the bad boy act?" He looks at me startled. He wasn't expecting that Question. "It's mainly to protect myself. Growing up, I was taken advantage up for being wealthy. I never really grew close to anyone of fear for being used again."

A little after talking, Out good came and I dove right in. I'm hungry as fuck. The Hospital food didn't sustain my hunger.

After we were done eating, Hunter offered to drive me home. I gave him the directions. Turns out I didn't live that far from the restaurant.

Driving up to my house made me sad because I knew the date was over. I know I had just met him but I want to stay with him for a little while longer.

He got out of the car and come over to open my door. What a Gentleman! As I stepped out, I lost my balance for a bit but he caught me. We stayed like that for a little bit. While we were like that, he stared into my Eyes.

"I had fun tonight. Maybe we can... do it again maybe?" I asked with a blush creeping up on my face. He nodded.

"I would love that. Well, you go and have a good night Marcus..." he paused. "Edwards." I say when I notice he wants to know my last name.

"I'll see you around Marcus Edwards!" He adds with a slight smile. "You as well Hunter Getminada!"

Before I could walk away, he presses a small peck to my cheek and gets in him car and drives off.

I'm just standing there Dumbfounded that he just kissed me. Before too long, I walked inside the house quietly because I knew my Mother would be in bed and asleep. I snuck up to my room and passed out after scrolling through Instagram for a little bit.

I had so many ideas for this chapter and it was hard to choose one. So I decided to end it off with a kiss 😉. Anyways, I hope you guys like it!
