< Y/N's POV > Annoyingly loud, my phone alarm starts beeping like crazy and I lift my droopy head off of the pillow, reaching out sleepily and pawing for the 'stop' button.
I groan, burying my face into the soft fabric. "I'm too comfy to move..." I sigh to myself, snuggling back into the bright white blanket.
Suddenly, I remember that I'm in the middle of my new apartment and my eyes shoot open.
I was too tired to get a feel for the new suite when I had reached here yesterday, so now's the perfect opportunity.
I hop out of bed with new-found energy and quickly scurry out of my bedroom and to the middle of the living room.
Looking around the room, there were multiple brown boxes placed in piles and staring at me. The walls are all a barren white and the floor was made from light shaded wooden planks, with only grey chairs and sofas for decoration.
"A blank canvas for opportunity," I say confidently as I smile at my new home.
I quickly slip into some casual clothes and throw on a red hoodie, making sure to grab my phone and my purse too. Time to go get some stuff and redecorate the place.
I walk out of the room and to the elevator. The sunrise cracked the sky and has left a warm pink tone all around it, shining beautifully through the clear glass exterior of the lift.
Exiting the building, I'm hit with the subtle chill of the winds and the chirping of overhead birds. What a place...I could stay here forever.

After taking a 30 minute walk, I arrive at the city centre and stand facing a sophisticated-looking store that looks ideal for my needs.
As I walk through the door, I'm hit with the satisfying blow of warmth that ironically sends shivers down my spine.
There are rows and rows of aisles lined horizontally down the store, most definitely hiding little treasures within them. I smile and continue walking, grabbing a trolley and heading to the far left of the building to the bedroom section.
I spot a neat presentation of bed sheets, all patterned, coloured and textured differently. My desired bedroom interior is to be classy, aesthetic and cute, all at the same time.
My eyes trail from one sheet to the next and I pick up a soft, pastel blue one. I love pastel colours- especially when paired with white and light greys. I'm going to keep my white duvet so that the coloured sheet will only be visible when the quilt is moved: a genius idea if I do say so myself.
Throwing it into the basket, I walk to the furniture section. A tall, white wardrobe on display with a long mirror attached on one door catches my eye. It's so simple, yet exactly what I wanted.
