Smut warning: read at your own risk

< Y/N's POV >

Arriving at the coffee shop, my fingers fidget in anticipation of seeing Jimin again.

'I wonder if he asked me here on a date?' I ponder, remembering our kiss from last night: the sweetest touch that I have ever felt grace my lips.

I peer through the stained glass windows and then direct my gaze to the sign above the door.

'Jin's Café and Coffee."

As I push the door gently open and walk inside, the warm, coffee-scented atmosphere hits me instantly. It smells of pure comfort and subtle sugar: perfect for waking me up in the morning.

Jimin is seated at the far right of the shop, browsing through his phone casually, leaning his face into his spare hand. His squishy cheeks were deeply pressed into his palm, giving him a look of innocence that I can't help but smile at.

He looks up from his screen and smiles at me, getting up and walking towards where I'm stood.

"Morning, beautiful," he hums as he wraps his arm around my shoulder, hugging lightly.

"Hey, Jimin." I lean into him for a moment to greet him, before walking towards the counter and reading the lists of foods and drinks.

"This place is pretty cool, huh?" He says as he follows me, flashing a cheeky grin of pride.

"Yeah the selection sounds great!"

"What do you want? I'm paying," he says softly but sternly, leaving me with no choice to argue back.

"Um-" I quickly scan the lists above the counters, "a small mocha with whipped cream, please?"

"Yeah sure, anything to eat?"

"No thank you."

We approach the desk together and a broad-shouldered man with ebony hair greets us. He bows politely and smiles, "Hello and welcome to Jin's café and coffee! What can I get you?"

Jimin orders our drinks and tips the employee for being so polite and welcoming. We then walk to the table that Jimin was originally seated in and sat opposite one another.

Sipping the mocha, I sigh in content as the coffee descends down my throat: hot but masked with layers of white cream, ensuring it isn't hot enough to burn. Jimin also begins to sip his drink, leaving a subtle line of cream that lined his plump top lip that he was seemingly unaware of.

I giggle at his obliviousness, "You've got a little something on your lip..."

He extends his tongue out of his mouth and traces it along the outside of his lips, coating it with saliva and removing the cream.

"Oops," he giggles lightly and smiles so that his eyes are no longer visible, "I didn't notice that."

We continue to talk and flirt for a while, before finishing our drinks and heading home, energised and cheery from the dosage of caffeine.

"So we're really gonna do this huh?" I laugh, "We're such children, I swear!"

He bursts into laughter as we both ready ourselves to run in the hallway, "Game on," he winks playfully.

"Okay, but you have no chance of winning!"
He smugly brushes his shoulders at my comment, accepting the challenge with excitement and eagerness.
