Finding the mystery

No one's POV

As Adamaris and her wolf Rex walk back to the inzane asylum, she can't stop thinking about why she saved that girl. She doesn't know if she had feelings for the girl, or scared that her friends might kill her best friend. After a few moments of silence Adamaris pushes her thoughts aside while her and Rex walk into the asylum.

Clockwork POV

"Hey deadmaster you know we don't have to go looking for this mystery cutie....I..I mean person." I say worried as they get my hopes up looking for her. Deadmaster stops dead in her tracks and turns to me. "Clock I know you have a little crush on this mystery person but I'm not doing this for you." Deadmaster stated in a stern and determine voice, Then turned back and continue the journey.

"Well if you're not doing this for me, then who are you doing this for? Because the boys fear this mystery girl." I yell out to deadmaster fearing the response I get. Deadmaster stops again and begins talking without turning around.

"I'm doing this for me and an old friend of mine. Everyone thinks she's dead but she's a tough cookie and she won't go down without a fight. I let her down years ago but now is the time to stop living in the past and possibly see if we can continue our pact. Now if you don't mind can we go now?" I nodded my head telling deadmaster yes. I knew of deadmaster past until now.

We walk for about ten more minutes before we stumbled apon an abandoned asylum. "Okay here's the plan. You three try to see if the mystery person stays in this asylum, and if so try to communicate with it. I'll stay out here for back up." Deadmaster says with confidence.

We are afraid of the option of us saying no, so we go along with the plan. As we walk into the asylum, we are greeted by the same wolf from earlier. The wolf gets in an attack stance but before it can do anything, I hear the same voice that saved me earlier.

"Rex relax and let me handle this..." An angelic voice says before it switches to a different language. "Hey whoever you are we come in peace. So just come down so we can talk." Jeff says in the nice tone he has. We waited a few minutes but no luck. Alright I get its my turn to save the day or aleast save us from deadmaster.

Adamaris POV

Why won't they just leave. They are just standing there waiting for me to come out of the shadows. I mean for real don't they know that I kill people like come on. "Excuse me. I know you remember me from earlier. The one you saved from your pet." That girl from earlier why is she here? Should i say something or nah. I decided to stay quiet and sees if she says anything else.

"Umm I just wanted to say thank you for that. And my friends and I want to know if you wanted to come and live with us. We know that your a killer but so are we. My name is Clockwork and my two friends here are Masky and Jeff. We also have a friend outside named deadmaster. So what do you say friend." Maybe I should say yes this Clockwork seems nice but if I can't bring Rex then it's a hard pass.

"Can I bring my weapons and Rex?" I ask curiously waiting for a response. "Yes that is fine. But what's your name?" Clockwork responded with. I get my weapons and reveal myself from the shadows. "My name is inzane jay and this is my wolf Rex." I say pointing at myself and Then to Rex. Maybe this is the beginning of a new start for me or just be the beginning of my downfall.
