Percy POV

"Chiron! Annabeth and I have exciting news!" I told my old instructor. "Yes my boy what is it" he said with a sad smile. "I'm pregnant!" said Annabeth with udder happiness across her face. "That's wonderful news!" said Chiron hugging my beautiful wife. "I'm gonna be due in May" said Annabeth with a big smile plastered across her face. "Hey Annabeth...Katie and Clarisse are waiting for you outside" said Chiron with a frown. "Can't wait to tell them" said Annabeth walking out of the Big House.

"What's wrong Chiron" I said not bying his chirade. "Two days ago...Thalia Grace died in battle" frowned Chiron. I stood there in shock. "Annabeth" I whispered. "I figured that maybe you should tell her" sadi Chiron stroking his gray beard. I nodded my head, walked outside to get Annabeth. I called Annabeth from the porch. She heard me, excused herself from her friends and followed me to the big house.

"Travis proposed to Katie" said Annabeth happy for one of her friends. "Yah that's awesome" I said quietly. "What's going on Seaweed Brain" she asked not convinced. "Annabeth please sit down" said Chiron pointing to the couch that was against the wall.

"What's wrong" said asked immediately. "Thalia died last night" I said taking her hands in mine. She broke like a piece of glass. I wrapt her up in a hug. "Sssshhhh" I soothed rubbing her back.

"But- she-she was gonna be the-" Annabeth couldn't finish her sentence. "I know wise girl I know" I said trying to calm her down.
