After we talked for a little while, we quietly stood at the railing watching the waves flow in and out. We didn't want to leave. Who knew when we would see each other in person again. And the next thought made me very sad. Who knew if we would ever see each other again. Wonho could sense a change in the mood. He inched a little closer. He smiled at me.
"Tell me what you're thinking. We're in this together now. I can handle it. Please don't shut me out or keep anything from me. Good or bad, I want to know."
I sighed, "I'm worried I'll never actually see you again."
He stepped behind me, placed his hands on my shoulders and turned me around, "We will. You can be sure of that. I promise you that someway, somehow, we will meet again. But until that time, we will talk. We will message or video chat or send pictures. Whatever we want to do. Whatever we have to do. These last 24 hours have become too important for me to lose."
I looked into his eyes and could see that what he spoke was truth. I could feel the confidence growing in my heart. My breath caught and I leaned into his chest. He wrapped his arms around me. For a few brief seconds I felt like we would stay together forever, just like this. But he pulled away. A breeze immediately cooled the warmth on my face left from the heat of his chest.
"How do we say goodbye? When do we say goodbye?" I asked.
"Let's get dinner. Everyone together. You leave tomorrow as well as us. Let us spend the rest of the afternoon and evening together. We will go our separate ways and message like we will see each other tomorrow."
Already I could tell the strength I would gain from him. My heart would heal. Even if the parting and separation was painful, this kind of pain was different than a broken heart. "Ok." I tried to smile. I turned back to face the waves. Breathing slowly, just enjoying the moment. He stepped close behind me, put an arm on each side of me, and placed his hands on the railing.

We stayed like that until his phone started ringing. It was Kihyun. While he talked I pulled out my phone. 3 hours had passed! Wow! 5 missed calls! 20 unread chats! I was surprised it wasn't more! I immediately call Charlie. The phone had not even completed one full ring.
"Y/n! Omg! Where are you? Are you alive? We're you kidnapped? We don't have any ransom money? What will we tell your family?" I smiled. This was just what I needed to lighten the mood.
"I'm fine. I promise."
"Seriously, what happened?"
"Ummmmm. . . Where are you guys? Better yet, I'll send you my location. Just meet me here." I hung up. It would be easier to explain in person. I sent her my location ping.
Oh no! Maybe this wasn't a good idea! They are going to fangirl! I can see it now. I didn't have long to wait. I heard someone yelling my name.
"Y/n! Y/n!" Charlie! Goodness! I always laughed at her antics. She knows how to have a good time and I love that. I turned and saw them before they saw me. Tanya was laughing. Charlie was exaggerating my name while yelling. People were turning their heads and looking. I started to wave and I heard someone yell her name.
" Chaaaaarliiiiiie! Taaaaanyyyyyaaaaa!" Wonho was smiling. I started laughing. He doesn't die from embarrassment, just me.
Behind us in the other direction I hear Minhyuk yelling now too.
"Wonnnnhooooo!"
Everyone reached us at about the same time. Charlie and Tanya looked surprised. That gave me enough time to make introductions. The guys were so nice and gave each of them a hug and said hello. But that did not surprise me at all. That's them. That is how they treat their Monbebes. We started talking about going to eat. They said it was their choice and that they were taking care of us. Well, Wonho volunteered them. They just kind of agreed.

We all met at the restaurant they picked. They ordered and everyone ate. Them, staff, us. The food was good, the company was fantastic. It was not food I had tried before and Wonho encouraged me to try this dish, that dish, he even fed me a couple of times. Each time, he smiled. I smiled back. We stayed for a long time, all of us, and we talked. I leaned back against his shoulder. This felt so natural. I know I have said that before, but it was true. Slowly the staff left to go back to hotel. The guys were getting tired as well as us. I felt my eyes close. I will close them just for a few moments. A few moments turned into 15, which turned into 30. I woke up to find somehow I had laid down more and my head was on his leg. He was talking with Shownu and Jooheon. The other guys had went back to the hotel. He was running his fingers through my hair. He looked down as I moved just a little and smiled. That smile, my heart warmed. I'm still here with him.
"Why did you not wake me up?"
"You looked so pretty that I could not."
I sat up and realized that Charlie and Tanya were gone. He was reading my thoughts again. "I told them I would get you back to your hotel safe. That's why they are still here too. To make sure I get back to my hotel safe."
"I am so sorry guys. I didn't mean to fall asleep. You guys are tired, I am sure."
"It's ok," Jooheon answered. Shownu nodded in agreement. "If you are awake enough, we should probably leave."
Wonho held my hand on the way to my hotel. And as we got closer his grip tightened. Not enough to hurt, but I could tell he was anxious.
I quickly sent him a message on Kakao, 'Relax, it's ok, we will be messaging tonight.🤗'
He looked at his phone and I could see him smile. My phone buzzed, 'Thank you. ❤️'
We arrived at the hotel. We got out. He hugged me. "I'm not sure I can let go."
"It's ok Wonho, it will be ok."
"I trust you. Go inside and we will message. We will message until you fall asleep. You will have good dreams."

He was right, my dreams would be good.
