"How come you're not serving pudding today?" Theo asked the lady on the counter

The lady explained why they will not serve pudding to Theo if he's going to be rude to them.

Theo tilt his head and asked her "Why are you rude? Are you angry?" He keeps asking the same question for the third time, I can see why the lady keeps getting angrier and angrier.

I don't know what's happening inside his head but he made such a small mistake sounds like a big problem.
