The statue

Deep in the calmness of wild,
Surrounded by the peacefulness of the waves,
Supporting some homeless bird hostages,
Admiring the beauty of animals quenching thirst,
Never left alone by the fishes swimming beneth,
In the quietness replaced by the sounds of nature,
Stands a brave soul,
In her rusted metal body,
Beaten by the severe conditions of weather,
And her beauty fading slowly,
Remembering the day when she was alive in the crowd,
Now she is alive with seaweed covering her skin,
And cracks growing wider,
The statue that never knew silence,
Is now tempted by the voice of nature,
Represented as the statue of courage,
That spread smile on king's face,
And success in his way,
With celebrations everyday,
Worshipped by the people as a star of good luck,
The star that brings good,
Since the day she was gifted,
Transferred from a drowning kingdom,
Leaving all the negativity behind,
Starting to light a place with happiness,
Forgetting an angel so good can bring bad days,
The kingdom with so many happy faces,
Is now left abandoned with walls crackling and homes demolishing around,
The steets once flooded with so many happy voices,
Is now replaced with sounds of chirping birds flying away,
The king that has seen no failure,
Was defeated sadly by a training prince,
And his son who never believed in his power,
Has passed away through the world remarklessly,
The family that was once honoured,
Is now living deep within the shades,
The shades that never end,
The statue that once used to be the centre of the kingdom,
Is now the centre of  the wild,
The statue once surrounded by the praises,
Is now surrounded by the chirping birds,
In the middle of the peacefulness of the waves,
Calm and content in herself,
With a smile that was never this wide,
Among the birds,
She finds her true peace.
