Chapter 7.

Mia's POV
I'm excited for today, as Chris and Stephanie are going to work on some wedding plans, and Seth is coming over.
"Hey Mia, you'll be the Maid of Honor, won't you?" she asked, looking up from a magazine.
"Wow, me? Really? Are you sure? Wouldn't you rather one of your friends? Or at least someone older? I am only 17..."
"You think age matters? I don't care, Mia. You're like a sister to me, and I wouldn't want anyone else up there with me."
"Wow, alright, sure." I smiled, looking down at my phone, as I got a text from Seth.
"Awesome, so what are you and Seth doing today then?" she smiled, moving off the couch to get her stuff, as Chris came down the stairs.
"I don't know, probably just going to relax and watch movies. The usual." I shrugged, getting up to get myself some water.
"That sounds nice." she laughed. "Oh, and I'll text you the dates of the dress fittings."
"Great. Tell Jane I said hi." I added, as she and Chris left the house.
Jane is Steph's Mom, and she's been like a Mom to me since my parents left.
I went onto Netflix, looking for something to watch, while I waited for Seth to get here.

A while later, I heard a knock at the door. I jumped off the couch, excited to see Seth after a few days.
"Robby? What the hell are you doing here?" I gasped, not believing my ex boyfriend was standing in front of me.
"I came to apologize, Mia... I know I acted like a jerk to you. It wasn't right of me to break up with you like that." he sighed, shoving his hands into his pockets.
"Yea, you're right, it wasn't right. I didn't cheat on you, and you know that."
"I know you didn't. Just...when I saw you hugging Joey I..."
"There are no excuses for what you did, Robby. And you're hell lucky that was all Chris did to you." I snapped, feeling myself get angrier and angrier. He just has that affect on me; I can't help it if I hate him.
"Now you need to go, Seth's coming soon and I don't think you'd want him to kick your ass..."
"Mia, please. Just give me a second chance to prove to you that I've changed. Just one date."
"No, Robby. I can't. It would hurt too much; I can't afford to fall for you again." I whispered, feeling tears fill my eyes. "You need to go."
"Mia..." he whispered, as I slammed the door in his face. I turned my back against the door and cried, how could he?
Am I really considering giving him a second chance?
~*~
"Hey Baby." Seth grinned, when I opened the door. I jumped into his arms, my arms wrapped tightly around his neck.
"I've missed you." I giggled, slowly detaching myself from him, I took his hand instead. "Come on."
"So I'm guessing they're out for the day?" he asked, looking around at the empty house.
"Yep, Chris and Stephanie went to start planning things for the wedding. She also asked me this morning if I would be one of her bridesmaids." I grinned, sitting back on the couch.
Seth followed my lead, then pulled me onto his lap. "That's great, Baby."
"Yea...I'm excited. I meant to ask her if maybe I could design the dresses for us..." I giggled, shaking my head.
"You and your designs, I swear." he laughed, kissing my forehead. "But I know that someday you're going to be the best fashion designer lady in the world."
"In the world? I don't know about that..."
"Well I do; you're going to be great."
"Thanks," I blushed, feeling a lump begin to form in my throat.
I guess that meant it's time to bring up the elephant in the room...
"Look, Seth, before you came here earlier..." I started, feeling a sob crawling its way up my throat.
"Did something happen? Are you hurt?"
"No, I'm fine...that's not what I meant." I sighed, taking his face in my hands. "Robby came by earlier; he was saying that he..."
"He what? Did he do something to you?" Seth asked, his eyes running all over my body.
"No...he...he wants us to get back together, he was saying that he feels bad for what he did to me and that he still loves me. He wants me to give him another chance."
Seth's eyes widened, before he lifted me off his lap and started pacing.
Oh god, that can't be good...
"Are you honestly considering it? Giving him another chance?" he whispered, I could tell he was near tears too.
"Well, earlier..." I whispered, not wanting to say it. "I will admit, it crossed my mind. But I couldn't, Seth; I love you too much. I'd never do that to you."
"I just..." he started, before his eyes filled with anger. "Wait, Mia, do you remember the promise we made to each other when we first got together?"
My mind fluttered back to that summer when Seth and I got together. It was at his friend's beach party, and my friend that I'd gone win had left me to go off with her boyfriend....
"Seth, I...I didn't even realize..." I sighed, reaching for his hand.
"No, Mia. You know I can get possessive, specially since I realize you can do so much better than me. Why would you say that?"
"Seth, I'm sorry." I whispered, as he slowly got off the couch. "Where the hell are you going?"
"Just...give me some time, okay?" Seth sighed, before he left the house.
Did he leave me?
~*~
"Mia! Where are you?" I heard a voice shout, from downstairs. Since Seth left, I'd moved up to my room, where I was currently watching reruns of Friends.
"My room!" I called back, as I waited for whoever it was, to come up.
"Mia! What are you doing up here?" Hannah asked, as she came in. She took a seat next to me on the bed, taking in what I was doing.
"Oh I love this episode." she giggled, shaking her head. "Wait, I thought you were hanging out with Seth today."
Hearing his name made me burst into tears.
"Mia, what's wrong? Did he leave you? That son of a..."
"No! Hannah, I messed up. I told him about what Robby said when he came by earlier and now he's all mad at me, because I broke the promise we made when we first for together."
"He's a jerk then, he could've just forgiven you and moved on, instead of leaving you." she muttered, as she got off my bed and started pacing.
"You know what you need?"
I groaned. "What do I need?"
"You need a frozen yogurt fix. Come on." she took my hand, dragging me out of bed. "We're gonna make you look so good, that Seth is going to wish he never left."
"Hannah, I don't think..."
"Nonsense. He's going to regret ever even thinking about walking away."
~*~
Two hours later, we pulled up in front of the small frozen yogurt shop. I got out and made my way in, looking around.
