Chapter 1

This is going to be a modern college AU where I put my spin on some events and people :3

(Lucy's POV)

After a 127 mile drive I finally arrived at the place I will call "home" I step out of my black BMW and stretch my arms "ahhh finally!" I sniff the city air, I turned 18 a month ago and finally I'm free, free from my father, free from the rich life and my past 17 years of hell. I walked to the inside of my building and took the elevator to the 6th floor 'eek I can't wait any longer!' My dreams of leaving home and living in my own house is coming true well.....not exactly "Hm 341.....342.....343! There it is" I nervously twisted my key and opened the door to my new apartment/pent house I gasp "this is even better than I imagined!" I jump like a little kid and drag my luggage inside "it sure does have it's advantages to have a rich parent" I smile at my king sized bed and threw my self on the comfy pillows "ah I can stay here forever......FREEDOOOM!" I laughed onto the pillows I hear my phone ringing and check the called ID "dad...." I ignore the call and stare at my painted ceiling, my mother died In an accident when i was young I don't know how she died but all I remember is blood on the ground, red and blue lights flashing and the screaming and sobbing of my father and after that.........well that's when hell began for me and all I wished was to runaway.

A few days later-

I fully unpacked and arranged my cloths 'thank goodness this apartment is already furnished' I sigh and admire my new home I pondered for a bit for where to go 'I don't really know the town really well so coffee is all I have' I put on a light jacket and walk out. I sat in an empty booth and ordered a small cup if coffee "Mmm this is really good" I took a couple of sips while I checked out my colleges website "Fairy university hmmm it seems like a good school" actually I didn't really care if it was the top school or not all that mattered to me that it was farther away from my past life, I can be easily accepted in the top school in Fiore because my grades are really high thanks to my all girls strict private school "ugh" I close my laptop and decided to take a walk 'two weeks from now I'll be a freshman at fairy university' is all could think about. I take out my black elite card from my leather wallet 'time to go shopping' i bit my lip as I walk past my building 'wait I don't know where anything is' i run back and stop infront of the doorman "um excuse me mister?" He looked at me "are you lost?" He asks me "huh? No I was wondering where the closest mall is" he laughs "the closest mall is 27 miles away. If you want to go shopping just walk to the second avenue kid" he points to the left "uh um thanks mister......" "Simon just call me Simon" "okay thank you simon" I walk away 'he called me a kid' I pout and stroll around the shops and boutiques I buy several crop tops and graphic tees and a pair of cut-off shorts then I head towards the cosmetic shop "wow! There are a lot of colors to choose from" I looked at the eye pallets and picked some that matched my chocolate brown eyes I also picked some lipstick and eyeliners "so this is how it feels to be an adult" I grin my shopping bags. I am actually pretty nervous and excited for going to a mixed university and now that I am alone "I still have two weeks to build up my confidence" I sigh and call it a day

2 weeks later-

This is it, today's the day. I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock I hit the off button and got up, took a shower and looked threw my closet 'hm I want something that screams confident' but a little part of me wants to wear childish cloths so I choose a tight fitting floral tank a brown cardigan on top with a denim mini skirt "perfect!" I put on matching combat boots and do my make up "up do or loose" I experiment with my hair for a bit then decide to put it in a bun "looks good" I admired myself in the mirror and took off in my BMW. In less than 20 minutes i arrived at the gates of Fairy University "it's really big!" I aw at the huge buildings and walk to the crowded gate "this is it" I mumble and head towards the campus entrance.
