Chapter 7

I give up ;-; here is a farewell gift from me to you readers, it isn't good I know....

(Lucy's POV)-

I yawned as i woke up from a restless night "I shouldn't have stayed up all night" I groan as I stretch my arms 'alrighty now time to get to class' I hopped out of the shower and into my closet "I need more clothes" I pondered as I slipped on my ugg boots and left my apartment jingling my car keys in my hand "good morning Simon..." I turn around and see Cas instead of Simon "oh hi Cas, where is Simon?"i ask but Cas only puts his head down "Simon-n passed away two days ago" he finally muttered "what?!..." I whisper and gasp 'does Erza know about this?' I worried all the way to Fairy University "uh levy have you seen Erza?" I asked looking around "not today, she didn't come to class" she replied as we walked across the campus 'Erza knows.....'

Time skip: 3 months
(Levy's POV)
I sighed as I stood infront of the library door waiting for Gajeel to come 'as usual' I frowned as I saw his figure appearing in the distance "you're late" I crossed my arms as he finally reached the door "yeah yeah" he panted as he walked in and sat down "I had practice jeez I don't have time for anything" he grunted "well then why did you come for tutoring?" I replied with anger trying to hide my sadness "eh I need the grades" he said looking away "if you need the grades then do it alone, I have more important things to do anyways" I snap "hey when did you get so sassy?" He growled as I rolled my eyes and started packing my things "yo!" I heard him say and I turn around "sit" he said "why would I? You don't have time for this, I wouldn't want to take your precious time" I said sarcastically "you don't understand I can't do this!" he replied with anger in his tone as he put his hands on my shoulders "I need you-" my eyes widened "I need you to tutor me" he continued 'he needs me-e?' We stood in silence for a while "o-okay" I finally say as he removed his hands off my shoulders and I sit down "where shall we begin?" I opened the book.

(3rd person POV)
A couple of hours later,
Levy yawned slightly as she explained the lesson to Gajeel "fine let's call it a day" he said checking his phone "Hm okay..." she replied but little did she know that he noticed that she was tired "mid-terms are next month" she said as they both packed their bags and headed outside the library "Yo pip-squeak" "yes?" Levy replied "are you doing anything tomorrow?" "No why?" "Nothing much just a friend gave me two tickets to a boring broadway play and well do you want to go?" He said hiding his soft eyes as levy stayed quiet for a while "so you coming or not? I have a cat to feed" he said impatiently glancing at her "oh is it your cat as your lock screen?" She asked "wha-......well yeah" she giggled "stop laughing and answer me" he grumbled "okay" she smiled "be ready at 8" Gajeel walked away fast 'she said yes!' He grinned to himself. Levy stood watching Gajeel walk "did he just ask me on a date?!" She blushed furiously as she dialed Lucy's number "Lucy, I have big news". "O MY GOSH levy!" Lucy jumped on the bluenette as levy opened her dorm room "Lucy! I'm not even sure if it was a date, it could've been a friendly invitation!" Levy blushed as she played with her hair "Levy it is a date! Now where are you going?" "To see a broadway play together" "Fancy, you should wear a dress" levy nodded in agreement and opened her closet "hmm" they both stood in front of the various hanged clothing "this" Lucy pointed to a dark purple long dress with a matching shawl "perfect" levy smiled and took out a bunch of snacks "sleepover?"she asked "Sleepover" Lucy plopped a piece of popcorn in her mouth and they chatted the night away.

The next day-
At 7:30 PM Levy stood all dressed up in her gown outside her dorm "Lucy are you sure I'm not over dressed" "levy you're there to steal the show" "huh? but I'll be watching the show" "but Gajeel will see two" Lucy laughed sleepily "do you even know what you're saying? you haven't slept since yesterday" levy squinted her eyes "no...yes....maybe" Lucy stalled "I wanted to help you" she whined "thank you Lucy but can you do me a last favor?" "Mhm what is it?.." "Go to get some rest, I'll call Natsu to drive you back" she smiled "oh okay" she yawned. In a couple of minutes Natsu pulls up in his motorcycle "you called?" he took off his helmet "why are you all dressed up and Lucy half-asleep?" He raised his eyebrows "never mind me, just take Lucy to her apartment" levy said "fine" he said as he strapped a helmet on Lucy's head and put back his own on "hold on tight" and he drives, "oi Lucy?" Natsu asked as he stopped infront of her apartment "how long did you stay up yesterday?" "All nigh-" she replied quietly before dozing off "oi!" he got off 'what will I do with her now?' He thought then hauled her on his back 'heavy...' "eh? Is miss Lucy okay?" Cas asked at the door as he saw Natsu carrying her "yea" he entered the elevator and got off at the right floor "thank goodness you left the door unlocked again" he settled Lucy on her bed "girls are weird" he decided as he sat down on her couch and watched tv.

Meanwhile with levy-
Levy stood quietly as she watched the cars drive by 'why am I so nervous' she checked her watch '7:58' she sighed as she felt time goes slowly but a honking sound startled her "yo shrimp" "Gajeel!" She smiled as she walked to the car and sat in the front seat "ready?" he asked "mhmm" she nodded 'he isn't going to say anything about how I look' she pouted as the ride went with silence until Gajeel opened the radio 'that's my favorite song' levy thought as she heard the opening melody and started humming with the lyrics

Today, I keep noticing everything

"Oi shrimp are you listening!" Gajeel angrily shut the radio "I'm sorry but that was my favorite song" "why do girls like stupid love crap like that" he huffed "well maybe because they dream that a man would treat them the same way" levy looked out the window furrowing her eyebrows "...." No words were exchanged until they pulled over at the theater 'that was a nice start...not' levy sadly thought throughout the whole show until she noticed Gajeel stealing glances at her occasionally. "that was a great show!" Levy said excitingly at the drive back home "well I thought it was boring" Gajeel frowned "then why did you take me there?" "Because I knew you would like it" he replied emotionless 'how thoughtful' levy blushed "do you want anything to eat?" He asked but levy shook her head "whatever suits you" Gajeel orders a burger for himself and continues driving to Levy's dorm "okay were here" he said unlocking the door "thank you" levy smiled "gihi" he grined "anything for you shrimp" she stepped out and waved "oh and make sure to eat well, you don't want to be a shrimp forever" "hey!" She pouted cutely "I was just kidding, you're fine just the way you are" he smiled "eh?!!" Levy blushed "well goodnight" he lifted his hand then drove away in the night 'did I just imagine that?' Levy held her red cheeks in her hands and quickly went back to the dorm while her head got stuck in happy thoughts.
