Adeline's POV:

I couldn't breathe, my lungs were begging for air but I knew that I couldn't stop. I knew if I stopped he would catch up to me.

The vampire was way faster than me but I don't know why he is slowing down. He was standing right in front of me and instantly I realized what he planed to do.

He was trying to cut me off and he was successful. He smiled while his fangs lowered, his eyes thirsty.

It was when he started to walk towards me when I snapped out of it. I tried to turn around but my feet were stuck.

I looked back at my coming death and his smile only grew deeper. "Hunter" was all the vampire said.

Now, he was so close I could smell his rotting breath. I tried to scream right before he sank his teeth into the curve of my neck then total darkness.

I shot upright a fresh coat of sweat covered my forehead. That was such a real dream. I got up because I knew I wasn't going back to sleep any time soon.

So I went downstairs only to find my sister in the kitchen. She has dirty blonde hair, she is about one year young than I am. She was wearing a white t-shirt and some sweat pants. She looked up worried.

" What's wrong?" She asked.

"Couldn't sleep, you?" I asked concerned.

"Same" She said.

" You seem worried" I said.

" I am, ill tell you tomorrow." She told me.

I loved my sister she seems to be the only one who gets me. A house full of hunters, I could use the friend. My family is highly set on rules and sometimes I just feel like nothing to them.

They never seem to care, but I glad my sister isn't like them. She seems very fragile on the outside but I know her enough to say she is brave and a warrior.

She seemed like she was still worried and I don't like pressing so I told her goodnight and I went back upstairs. I laid back down and closed my eyes and went into a dreamless sleep.
