Love or lies

Chapter 5:

      Lucas' POV:

        There she was walking into school. I heard her outside talking to her friends. 'So she still doesn't know it was me?' I thought.

Since me being the nice guy that I am I'm going to give her a hint. So when she saw me I held her gaze and smirked. When she looked down and a sort of crimson colored her cheeks that's when I knew she got the message.

Quickly slipping into class without anyone noticing I took my seat and class started . It was weird it was kind of what felt like butterflies in the pit of my stomach.

Its probably because I hadn't had anything to eat. Last time I fed was last Friday and it was an elk. Lost in thought I didn't even realise class was over until the bell knocked me out of my dream world. So I got up and slowly made my way to the next class.

I saw her and hesitantly walked where I sit, right next to her. For what seemed like forever I finally made it to my seat. However, when I sat down she looked up, from what I could tell, her homework. She sat there and glared. When I looked down at her, her expression softened.

  "Why did you save me?" She asked curiously.

"Oh, so you do know it was me." I said with a smirk.

    

   "When I walked into school I saw you and the look in your eyes told me it was you." Seemingly getting suspicious.

     I don't know how long we were talking but we were soon interrupted by an annoying 'ehm' . When I looked up I realized that it was the teacher.

  "Sorry Ms Rose and Mr....."

" Just Lucas ma'am , unless you really need to know then I'd have to kill ya." I said with a wink. The girls gasped but the guys' tried not to laugh but failed miserably. An eruption of laughs filled the classroom.

   " Out Now!" The teacher yelled.

I gave Adeline an apologetic look but she looked like she had been laughing also. I stood up and went to the door.

   When I got into the hallway , it was completely vacant.' Good, now I don't have any witnesses.' I thought. I need to get to know her. So I waited until class was over. I saw her right when she looked up. A smile formed at her lips. I tilted my head to motion that I wanted her to follow me.

    When she got in the hallway it was almost cleared out. Her face showed curiosity and hesitation.

" Spend the rest of the day me?" I made it sound like she had a choice but I needed to tell her. To tell her what I am.
