I stared at the girl in the mirror. She had on jeans with leather jacket and black ankle boots. She looked like a biker but she doesn't really care. 

"What are you wearing" I heard Flora say and I shrugged

 "You're not wearing that" she deadpanned

 "Really?" I asked in glee

 "Yeah" she answer confused as to why I was happy

 "Then I won't have to go to the party" I said joyfully

 She narrowed her eyes at me "Fine"

 "That's what I thought" I smirked

 She had on a green short dress with heeled boots and her hair was down her back in glossy ringlets

 "Let's go" she said and walked away. Before I followed her, downstairs, I stuffed my phone and other small needs like my keys and wallet in my pockets.

 "Dad we're leaving" I announced as I kissed his cheeks

 "Ok be careful, Hun" he said with a small smile

 "Okay, Dad"

 "Be back early" he added which made me stopped walking and turned around to meet him with a questioning look

 "Have you forgotten I'll crash at Flora's?"

 "Oh yeah. Sorry Hun, old age is in effect" he chuckled and I smiled

 "It sure is" I joked

 With that, I met Flora in the SUV. We had decided to go with two cars. Kayden and Ryan shared a mustang while Flora, Sasha and I were in her car.

 Flora and Sasha were singing to the lyrics of a song from the radio, I remembered that night. The reason I didn't want to go to this party in the first place.

 My hands started shaking, and my palm started to sweat which rarely happens. This was as a horrible sense of déjà vu hit me. My breathing slowing became shallow and I felt like I was in an enclosed box. I sure had claustrophobia. Flora and Sasha were however, oblivious to what was happening to me because I was in the back seat and they were too preoccupied with the music.

I saw that we were getting close to Nick's house because I heard the loud music that blasted the whole neighborhood.

There was a turn leading to Nick's house and a vehicle was come from the direction at full speed. I screamed.......really loud making the car come to a screeching stop Flora slammed on the brakes and so did Kayden who was closely behind our car. Flora and Sasha both whipped their head at the same time, looking at me in alarm. I sheepishly looked at my 'very interesting nails' and refused to look up at them.

 "What was that all about?!" Flora yelled

 "I-I thought that car was gonna hit us" I stammered

 "The car was 'slowly' going on the other direction" Sasha said making sure to stress the word 'slowly'

 "I swear I saw that car coming at full speed" I said in defiance

 "Well you saw wrong" she deadpanned

 "Geez you almost gave me a heart attack with that scream" Flora said in relief as she started up the car

 We were finally met by silence and the atmosphere became extremely awkward for me. It was incredibly thick with tension as Flora drove, it was almost suffocating.
