(Mercy POV)
I woke up in the medbay, with multiple cords attached on my body.  I felt the pain in my back still and I wanted to know what happened to me.  I was scared though I heard voices in my head.  Someone walked in but it wasn't human. I panicked when I saw a syringe in there hand.  I flew up and pushed it into a cart behind it. I ran out of the room,all of the IV's connected to me got disconnected from the machine's. I could hear alarms going off and then 2 more figures come into view but it's unclear of who it is.  I decided just to run.  I ran outside and realized there was snow on the ground.  I had no shoes just socks. I hesitated.  I decided I didn't care so I ran but before I made it far I was tackled by one of those things.  I attacked it with all my might but it was no use.  It injects something into me and I slowly felt tired and passed out.

(Gabriel POV)
After she passed out I carefully picked her up. Walked back into her room and I sat her on her bed. Then connected her IV'S back where they were. I don't know what she saw but she looked scared. I tied her to the bed then sat next to her and just waited for her to wake up again. It took about an hour before she woke up. She looked more calm than she did when she first woke up. She looked at me. "What happened why am I here"? "I honestly don't know I found you below a balcony they say you jumped off or fell off"? "Neither I was thrown off by the person we were looking for". She grabs her arms and crosses them. "That makes more sense than what people were saying.....Angela what did they do to you. I mean we found the things on your back but that's it". "What's on my back?" I hesitate to tell her. "Somehow they gave you wings I think". She looks down. "I knew they did something but not something like that". I grab her hand. "You'll be okay we're all family here and we always help family no matter what". I smile. She smiles back. "Thanks Gabe". "You wanna get out of bed". "Yeah". She puts her legs off the bed and onto the floor. I back up and watch her. She stands up and walks toward her clothes. "I'm gonna get dressed so if you could give me some privacy please". "Of course". I walk out of the room and wait about 6 minutes before she comes out. I notice she looks uncomfortable. "What's wrong"? "The wings are clearly visible through my shirt. It looks weird". I saw how she looked embarrassed and kinda like she feels like people will stare. I went behind her and ripped 2 lines in her shirt and carefully took her wings and put them through the rip holes so they'll be on the outside. "There perfect". "Gabe people will stare". She looks at me. "Who cares it's not your fault and there beautiful don't need to hide them". She blushes. We walk down to Jacks office. "What are we doing here Gabe". "Jack wants a closer look at your wings to see if they are real and if you can move them". "Ok". Jack walks out. "Let's head out".

(Angela POV)
We go into the training center and go to the middle of the gym. There's no one in the gym but Jesse and Ana are in the main training room. On the way to the gym they stared at me with a surprised look that I was there. I could see them through the window of the training center looking at us. I ignored them and looked at Jack. "Okay so first we're gonna simply see if you can move your wings. If you can't just tell me and will try just physically moving your wings by hand". "Okay". I can feel the wings on my back like they are apart of my body. So I should be able to move them. I inhale a good breath and then feel the wings lift off my back and extend out. Gabe and Jack look at me in awe. It's silent until Gabe speaks up. "There beautiful". "That was great Angela now try and flap them forward and backward slowly". I do as he says and do it 2 times then I stop. "Great last test. Try and fly". I was nervous but I knew I could do it if I tried. I flapped as hard as I could and got off the ground. I flew up and tried to fly around the room and I did it perfectly. I landed back by them. "Perfect with training you'll be an actual medic angel". They both walk away and out of the room. I smile and think these came from a very bad thing but can now be used for good on the field. I head into the lunch room and find out all my friends waiting for me. I hug most of them and tell them about what happened and why I like them now. I also tell them how I'm going to be able to help them on the field after I've trained enough. They were all excited for me and happy I was okay. I went back into my room after most of them went to bed or did something else for the rest of the afternoon. I read a book as I waited for it to get closer to night time. I was about to go to bed when I heard a knock on my door. "Who could that be this late". I open the door and find Gabe standing there crying. The brute who I thought couldn't cry. "Gabe what's wrong". "I need your help".
