I stared at the teacher's mouth going up and down as he talked, it seemed to be making me go into to a daze cause I didn't notice everyone exiting the classroom or my friend Taylor calling my name almost yelling at me what is wrong. I shook my head tearing my gaze off of the teacher and looked up to my extremely annoyed friend pouting next to me."Sorry... So whats up?"
"We are sort of leaving for the end of the day!"
She said both enthusiastically and sarcastically. "Jay, we're going to be late for the bus if we don't hurry up!"
She gripped my arm and dragged me out of the room as I struggled to catch up. Finally, I pried my hand free from her tight grasp running past her , I took a quick glance back and realized that she had already recovered from her state of confusion and started chasing me down to the buses. She finally caught up to me and leaped onto my back. Her dark brown hair whipped my face as she landed sending me backward laughing hysterically on the ground and right on cue she joined in. "What was that for?!"
I giggled and helped her up. 'I don't know?"
She shrugged making me laugh harder and rapped her arm around my neck, I did the same to her as we continued our way to the bus. "What did you get on the chemistry test today in Mr. Gnarls class?"
I asked randomly, she sighed dramatically and held her heart reaching towards the sun and looked away."Only... an 80%"
An imaginary tear strolled down her cheek making me chuckle."Since when were you a drama queen? And I got a 93%!"
I sprinted down and jumped onto the bright yellow school buss with Taylor right on my tail smiling wildly with the cray hint in her pale blue eyes at that moment I knew,hide. I ran to the last seat and hid under it listening to the screams, laughs and footsteps of other teens on the bus. I risked a peak and looked up and saw Taylor maneuvering through the seats looking for me. A familiar face popped in front of me with a glint of amusement. "Aleacia! Gosh, you scared me!"
I gasped, holding me chest. She held up her hands in mock surrender,"Sorry!"
She smiled and that's when I noticed Taylor sitting next to me silently trying to keep a straight face. We all burst out laughing and giggling while Ally walked over and sat on the other side of the insane person next to me. "Hey, did you see Reyna today?"
"Actually, no."
Tay replied confused. "Maybe she was sick?"
I offered. "Or maybe,dun dun dun! She's sitting right next to us!" Ally swung her head to the left pointing at Reyna and two other girls talking to each other. We continued home on the bus talking about school and some times me, Aleacia or Tay would come up with the occasional joke or comment that made us all laugh.

We finally all reached our street which we found out that we all lived on the same street last week. They both came with me to my house after a small debate about who's to go to. We leaped of the bus skipping all three steps making our way down to the concrete. Hey........ Ally, Tay?"
"Yes ma'am?"
Ally asked wiggling her eye brows. I shook my head smiling and raced down the concrete to my house leaving my two friends running after me. My long black wavy hair was whipping my cheeks and I think my blue eyes were starting to tear up as I ran down the street.I started to slow down as a pain in my chest grew bigger and bigger making me crumble to the ground. I groaned as the pain moved around my body making me feel like a semi just hit me. My friends rushed to my side with concerned looks. My vision became blury as I cried in pain and my hearing began to echo as my friends screamed my name saying everything was going to be okay.The last thing I heard was,"I think she's morphing for the first time!" Before I was consumed by darkness.
