Authors note- y/n hasn't met Grayson's parent or family. He also hasn't told them they're engaged

Grayson's POV
Y/n and I are on our way to my parent house, she fell asleep like an hour after we left the city. My parents are going to love her. We're just 2 minutes away from the house and started to wake her up she looked tired. I say to her "wake up sleepy head were here." She nods and opened the car mirror to see herself. She fixes herself a bit. I looked at her and she staes at me and says "I'm scared to meet your family what if they don't like me at all and what if your ex girlfriend is here to mess it up and what if your mom li" I stopped and kissed her. "It's going to be fine I promise" we both got out of the car and headed to the front door. Both of us stand hand in hand. I knock on the door and waited until I saw my mom. "Grayson! Hi honey I missed you so much. I'm sorry me and your father could make it to graduation." I gave her a hug and she noticed y/n. I said to her "mom I'm going to introduce her in front of everybody so let's go inside." We headed inside I saw my dad, cousins, aunts, uncles, and family friend. They all greeted me and y/n I could tell she was very nervous. Me and her stood in front of the living room and called everyone's attention "exude me everyone may I have your guys attention please, thank you guys so much for the warm welcom for the both of us. So I wanted to introduce this lovely lady to all of you, this is my beautiful fiancé y/n" everyone was in their awe's. All the girls came up to her and welcomed her into the Dolan family. My dad had no words but I knew he was happy for me. We all separated and told our story and how we met also how I proposed to her at prom. I said to my dad " the first day of senior year I knew she was the one I n is how cliche that sounds but it's true. She's my best friend, my world and my rock. She is the most amazing girl in the world. I love her so much dad." He looks at me and says "I know son, everyone loves her I can't wait to see both of you get married." I gave him a hug

Your POV
I just met grays family and they are so sweet I'm glad they accepted me in the family. I was telling them how I met him and what happened at prom. This was a big surprise for me because we went to the city to explore and drop everything to New Jersey in like an hour. I was so nervous meeting everyone but after I met them everything feels fine. One of gray's cousin kassandra and asked me "what was your first reaction meeting gray." I giggled to my self (flashback)
I finally get up to the office and stood behind this guys. So I waited and looked around through my phone going through Instagram and Twitter. He turns around and bumps into me on accident. He says "I'm sorry" I smiled at him "it's fine no worries" he glances at me " your new huh." I nodded, he introduced himself "I'm Grayson" I shook his hand "nice to meet you Grayson I'm y/n." Were still shaking hands and he nods and pulls away "see you around" I nodded and thought to myself holy hit his fucking hot.
After the little story I told her she stared to laugh. I asked her "kassandra do you have a boyfriend." She blushed "so I take that as a yes then" we both laugh. She starts talking about him I could tell that she really like him. I looked at her and said "you should invite him to the wedding." She smiled and nods. The party started to die down and kassandra and said our goodbyes, she's my favorite. I started to help Lisa clean up and out everything away. She started doing the dishes while I clean the rest of the kitchen I heard her say "y/n, you make my son very happy. I haven't seen him this happy the last time I saw him. He's told me so much in how he falls in love with you everyday he sees you, he texted me and asks me and Sean for advice on how to keep you happy and not to let you go. When he first met you he talked about you non stop about you. I'm glad your marring my son. I love you y/n." Lisa and I start crying and gave each other a hug. We finished everything in the kitchen and saw Sean and Grayson come in. Grayson came up to me and gave me a kiss Sean did the same to kiss. It was getting late so we said goodnight and headed upstairs to grays room. We walked in and I looked around his room and saw his trophies he has and his instruments. We unpacked our clothes because we're staying here the week before school starts. He comes up to me and grabs me by my waist and says "I love you so much y/n, I can't wait to marry you" he says as he kisses me. "I love you too Grayson we need to start planning it so both of us won't stress so we could have more time on our hands." I say as I gave him a smirk. We kiss each other and changed into our PJs and went to bed.
