johnny and taeil never knew that having that one call would get their relationship to another level.
they started loosing up around eachother. its been about 1 month since they called and they became very close.
most conversations would start with a 'how was work?' then led to another topic just small refreshing calls every night after 10 pm. taeil would rant about how his colleagues made him do errands during his lunch hours and how hyuck is enjoying is days in school.
johnny didn't mind hearing how talkative taeil could get because he was truly whipped. to him, taeil's voice reminded him of the waves that would relax all his worries and stress.
taeil would probably admit that he loved hearing the younger as well because some nights, johnny would make his snarky remarks during taeil's rants and talk about the costumers with long orders. like just take one iced latte and take a seat.
no one never knew how their relationship would end up from awkward acquaintances to midnight call buddies. they loved eachothers company and really cherished their 'friendship'.
johnny's favorite moments would be when taeil fell asleep during one call and hearing his snores made johnny giggle a bit.
even though they had daily calls. johnny wanted to be bold and ask taeil for dinner. no more hiding their bond, they should embrace it.
it was friday, johnny went to pick up hyuck and chenle again. he came a little late than usual, but once he walked to the front gate...his heart beat increased.
he witnessed the sun hitting onto taeil's faces as he sat next to hyuck and chenle. they were all talking about something that johnny couldn't really hear.
"daddy!" hyuck ran to him quickly. "mr. seo, don't you try to come early?" taeil crossed his arms.
"ah, im sorry! the cafe has been geting lots of costumers and kun is out of town now so i gotta get the kids."
"uncle johnny! my dad said im allowed to stay the 2 weeks! i have all my bags at home." chenle interrupted. johnny patted chenle's head and told him and hyuck to race to car.
"taeil, erm- i mean mr. moon. may i ask you to dinner?" johnny said while trying to look suave. taeil started laughing. but johnny wasn't laughing.
"wait... you're serious?!" taeil's eyes widened. "yes i am mr. moon" johnny replied with confidence but his red ears showed how nervous he got.
taeil's heart quickened. who knew seo johnny singlehandedly would give such an effect on him.
"of course! is next saturday good?" taeil looked up at johnny since he couldn't let johnny bend his knees to look shorter like he's done before. it's humiliating for taeil.
