"It's Pitch Black, no light, but I seem to glow. There is someone here... A little girl with black hair playing in the grass at night staring at the stars with those beautiful eyes like the night sky, a dark blue, and it looked like there were stars in them. She stared at the night sky like she was waiting for something or someone like her dad was a constellation and she was waiting for him. She never had a dad I know because that little girl was my best friend Melinoe and she disappeared at the age of 5. She just went poof when we were laying on the grass looking at the stars. I looked over to her and she was gone and I have a feeling she didn't just disappear. Then this shadow swarmed and engulfed her until I couldn't see her. I screamed and went after her, but when I grabbed the shadowy mass it was like a cloud, unfathomable or not able to be grabbed. All I heard was her screaming...Then it all went black and then the earthquake came again....."
"Hey, Evelyn are you ok?! Evelyn! Wake up!"
I jolt up and I hit my head on Hercules's, and man did it hurt. He fell back and held his head and I laid back down holding mine.
"Owwwww my head!" I screamed.
"Don't forget about me."
"Wish I could get up, i'd lend a hand." I replied.
"I was worried, you were talking about Zagreus's sister, but how do you know her?"
I thought this over. "Who's name did I say?"
"Hmmmmm, Melinoe...ya."
"WHAT!?!?, but how? she...she"
"She what?"
"She disappeared at the age of 5 and never came back. Some unfathomable mass off shadows came and engulfed her then she was gone and I never saw her again."
"Well then Zagreus has got some explaining to-"
Hercules was cut off short and Zagrues was crouched down in front of me. His face was a bit too close for comfort.
"Well there he is now."
"Hello Hercules."
"Well hello Death Boy." Hercules replied.
"Hello, my name is Zagreus. I'm the son of Hades. I just wanted to see if you were alive." He says directed to me.
He was still extremely close. I could feel his hair on my nose.
I stare at him coldly. "Yes I am alive, but if it weren't for the help of Hercules, I would be dead."
"Hm" he smirks
"I didn't catch your name earlier, would you mind telling me it?"
"Why do you care for my name, when you don't even care for my life."
It was a bold statement. I don't think I've ever said anything like that.
"A little cocky, aren't we?"
He lifts my chin, while his face inches closer. I instinctively close my eyes. His hand was no longer on my chin, opening my once shut eyes to only see that he has vanished.
"Of course. Typical." I hear Hercules say as he stands up.
I could still feel his breath on my nose, and his fingers on my chin.
The trees shake as the wind picks up. Whispering silently.
"I will know your name."
