Captain Babysitter

❗️Chapter 5❗️

•Levi's P.O.V•

We were preparing for tomorrow; packing our bags. It was a 'big' day for many. Not for me. Just another shitty one, but worse.

Well here's the story of how the shit happened:

Yesterday when we played Death & Sorrow, (I don't remember what it was called, but I'm pretty sure I got it right) Mikasa got an idea. She started giggling like a bitch and ran up to the others. Of course, Eren followed and then I followed him.

She said that we could go back home and she'll explain. So we did what the brat said. When we arrived, she was again giggling like a hell of a-

Okay, so she suggested the worst thing ever. That I also had to do.

"Guys, why don't we camp outside in the park! It'll be fun and cozy!"

I tensed up, and they agreed that it was a good idea, me thinking the complete opposite. This isn't a goddamn elementary school.

I decided to tell Hanji and Erwin about it, thinking that they most likely (and hopefully) would disagree because the soldiers couldn't just have a useless break instead of training, and the kids weren't in kindergarten where we would go on trips.

But no. They just made it even worse.

"Why don't we all, soldiers and superiors go camping? As a free day, and for fun! It actually sounds pretty good!" Hanji suggested.

So now I'm packing for a hell of a camp in a PUBLIC PARK. We probably won't get permission but then the others will just suggest other places.

I didn't really have to pack a lot because I don't need a lot of things in life, unlike others.

I packed a T-shirt, trousers, toothbrush and toothpaste, hairbrush, and a book just to entertain myself which won't work.

I already am wearing my outfit so I don't need another pair. It's only one day too. I threw my bag onto my bed, getting unsatisfied by the mess and went to make it look more neat.

Then I decided a hot cup of good old black tea would do. After all, it had been a long day...for me. Poor me. I'm also human. And I also think like others, just more negatively.

I went to the kitchen and boiled some water in a kettle. I found myself a teacup and a bag of black tea. I prepared my tea as usual and when I was done, it kind of eased me, as if the smell was making me relax.

I went to my office and drank my tea in peace which was kind of surprising and I made sure to take small sips so that it could last as long as it could.

Meanwhile, I finished some shit work (you should understand what I mean by now) and yeah, people send in weird stuff those days. Well, not like that.

Some cadets even get letters so I have to goddamn deliver it to them. What do they think I am? Some stupid mailman?
