It gets to about 3:30 pm and Tony and Mark went down the driveway on their way out of town. Tony turns around and says "I expect this house is still standing when we get back, don't be silly," "we won't dad chill out!" Brennan says waving them off "bye guys" I say waving as they pull out of the driveway, "come on what movie first?" I say ruffling Brennan's hair and closing the front door behind us.

We sit on the sofa opposite each other wrapped in blankets with popcorn and sweets with a hot chocolate each watching movies for most of the evening. "Your phone is ringing" Brennan says pointing out the obvious "I know" I say bluntly "you not going to answer it?" He says changing his tone into a dumb sounding one. "Nah" I say not taking my eyes off the TV. Brennan snatches the phone from beside me, answers and puts it to his ear. "Hello.." "Brennan give it back!" So through gritted teeth trying not to be heard through the phone "hang up now!" I snap, he looks at me funny "Lexanni's phone can I take a message?"He Says professionally, I moan in frustration "he said he's outside" Brennan says covering the mic on the phone. "What?!" I hiss "colby's outside" I roll my eyes and snatch my phone to end the call. "You just going to leave him out there?" Brennan asks "yes now be quiet" he looks a little shocked "why? Be in the doghouse?" Bell rings "now he knows we are here!" I hiss "and?" Your reply is not understanding. The door rings again and Brennan stands up and runs to the door "Brennan no!" I shout as quickly as I could, but it was too late the door was open. "I'm not here say I'm out" I whisper hiding the other side of the door "Hey Brennan is lexi in?" I'll be says he looks at me and I shake my head violently, I can't be dealing with this now. "She's urm out right now sorry" and I take a sigh of relief and, he'll go now "without her phone?" He questions, "late night walks she loves them, must've forgotten it" he explains "when will she be back?" He says and I sigh maybe he won't go then. "Go away, go away, go away" Think to myself. "I don't know she's out for hours some nights" I can't tell if he's buying it or not "right" I am losing my footing while trying to balance on my heels and fall and head-butt the front door. "Oww" are yelp in pain, falling to the ground "Lexanni?" Colby says confusesd and Brennan kicks the front door to reveal me on the floor still in my pjs. He rolls his eyes in patheticness. "Oh she's back now, here Lexanni you forget your phone on your late night walk." Brennan says taking the piss and I scowl at him.I smile awkwardly "hey" I say dying inside

"So why didn't you want me to know you were here again?" Will be safe sitting across from me on the dimly lit kitchen breakfast bar, I sigh "I was planning something for us and didn't want you to know yet" I lie, he smiles sweetly "you haven't answered my calls so I thought you'd lost interest," "no, never your so... urm interesting" I cringe at myself but it seemed to do the trick, "aww thank you" "as your here, you may as well stay for a while, we're half way through the lion king if you wanna join us?" I say biting the bullet and forgetting anything I had previously told myself. "That sounds great." We walk hand in hand to the sofa and settle down. I feel myself getting tired and I drift off to sleep on Colby's chest with his arm around my body.
