If you want to know that I don't own any of the fandoms, then go to the first chapter.

This chapter is very short as it is just the summoning of the servants and not an actual battle scene or something exciting. Also, I suck at being detailed.

Enjoy!

Irisviel and Kiritsugu stand in front of a summoning circle, a laurel flower resting in the middle. Irisviel couldn't help but marvel that such a powerful heroic spirit could be called with the might of a single flower.

"I declare the following." Irisviel's eyes travel from the summoning circle to her husband. Darkness shrouds his movement and seemed to suck all the light from the room, causing Irisviel to slightly squeak. "Your body shall serve under me. My fate shall be with your sword. Submit to the beckoning of the holy grail. If you submit to this will and to this reason, then answer the call." Kiritsugu's forehead furrowed, but he persevered. Irisviel took a step back, frightened by the magic in the room. Kiritsugu appeared to be some sort of mad conductor, his coat billowing out like a cape.

"An oath shall be sworn here. I shall attain all virtues of all of heaven. I shall have dominion over all evils of hell. From the seventh heaven, attended to by those great words of power, come forth from the ring of restraint, protector of the balance...!" The room fills with light and Irisviel and Kiritsugu cover their eyes.

When the light had cleared, Irisviel and Kiritsugu gape at the summoned servant

"I ask of you..." A young girl stands before them, clothed in red and white armor. "Are you the master who has called me forth?"

Far away, in a clearing in a corner of the large land of Fuyuki, Waver Velvet prepares to summon a servant.

In one hand he holds a knife, in the other a squawking chicken. It struggles to get free and pecks at Waver's hand, but the young boy is determined. He cuts the chickens head cleanly off before proceeding to draw a summoning circle on the ground with the still warm blood.

The chicken's squawking has already incited Waver's nerves, and now, the slightest sound makes him quiver. He briefly considers a calming ritual, but if the blood is not warm, then the whole summoning will fail.

After weighing the cons and pros, Waver decides to continue with his task. As he carefully spreads the blood, he begins the incantation.

"Let thy body rest under my dominion, let my fate rest in thy blade." The sensation of prana surround his body, and Waver feels as though he could cut it with a knife. The skies are quickly becoming darker, and if Waver doesn't hurry, then all the preparation might go to waste.

"If thou submitteth to the call of the Holy Grail, and if thou wilt this mind, this reason, then thou shalt respond." Waver quickly finishes the chant, and only when he finishes does he realize something is wrong.

Oh.

Oh, $#!+.

In the middle of the summoning circle, a young pink haired girl stands.

"Are you my master?"

Meanwhile, the master Tōsaka Tokiomi is having similar difficulties.

The circle has been drawn perfectly. The chant has been recited perfectly. Risei and Kirei can attest to that. Tosaka felt the prana in the air and knew that the intended hero would be summoned.

Then, why was a black-haired girl wearing a monks uniform standing in the center of the summoning circle?

At first, Tosaka is certain that this is all a joke. Maybe this girl would disappear and be replaced by Gilgamesh. However, after a minute passes and the girl is still there, Tosaka is worried.

Then she speaks, her blue eyes vibrant and full of life.

"Are you my master?"

Tosaka knows the answer. He opens his mouth, and in a hoarse voice, says:

"Yes."

If Kariya Matou knew what was happening to his rival in love, he might have burst out laughing.

Might being the keyword. After all, Kariya was experiencing the same thing.

The girl that appears is not very different than the one summoned by Tosaka at first glance. They both have dark black hair, are scrawny, and they are around the same age and height,

However, anybody could soon tell the difference between the two. The other girl's blue eyes are lively, ones of those who had not yet discovered life's hardships, whereas this girl's brown eyes are the ones of those who have known a thousand hardships.

Kariya is immediately reminded of Sakura in the way those eyes look at him, but he swallows down any guilt he feels at using a child soldier.

"Pathetic." Thankfully, the girl turns her eyes away from Kariya to the head of the Matou family. "You manage to summon a Berserker class, but she's just a little girl." Before Kariya can react, the girl holds a gun to Mato's head.

"Master." The girl turns back to Kariya, who is unsure of what to do. "Should I get rid of him?" Mato sighs and moves to the side.

"Pah. Maybe your servant will at least have some entertainment value." Mato leaves, his clothes swaying in the wind.

The girl holds out one of her hands, and Kariya shakes it.

The contract is now sealed.
