A New Start - BTS x Fairy Tail fanfiction

Chapter 1

So, I was thinking, why not make a story mixing two things I love, just like I did with my BTS x Harry Potter story? So, here is another book, because I don't have enough stories already x'D

I hope you like it! It's a little random and it might become a short story, but if people like it I might make a proper story out of it.

Magnolia had always been a very crowded town. Merchants roamed the streets, selling everything from crappy magic cards to food from overseas or even rare magical items. There were more children than in any other town nearby, so automatically lots of events were organized. Basic coming-of-age ceremonies, Spring Festivals, but also a magical circus or a Music Festival wasn't out of place.

There were a few magic guilds, but none of them had gone dark. The biggest guild of the town was Fairy Tail and, even though they were seen as a bunch of idiots who usually destroyed half of the town, the people knew Fairy Tail would protect them at any cost.

Magnolia was a happy, crowded town in Fiore. Nothing out of the ordinary.

It had been two days since Autumn had started and the seasonal festival was still ongoing. The main roads of Magnolia were decorated with all kinds of banners, flags and lanterns, making the city look very beautiful, especially at night.

It was around seven o'clock that Jeon Jungkook was thrown out of the house by his mother and father.

"You are no longer welcome here! Get out of our sight!"

With those words, his parents had slammed the door closed while he was lying on the ground along with his red backpack he had had ever since he could remember. He had hardly had any time to pack it though, so it was only half full.

Still, it hurt when his father threw it at his head.

"That's going to leave a bump..." he mumbled at himself with a soft curse. He stared at the backpack for a while, somehow both deep in thought and not thinking about anything at all. There was no way he could know what to do now. He was only fourteen years old and he had always lived with his parents. He was deeply inexperienced in life. What was he supposed to do?

"Oh? What are you doing on the ground? It's not comfortable." a voice called out.

At first, Jungkook didn't notice those words were directed at him, but when he saw a pair of legs in front of him, he snapped out of his thoughts and looked up. There was a guy – a man perhaps, Jungkook wasn't good at guessing someone's age – standing right in front of him.

"Oh, hi. Sorry, I'll get up." He muttered, immediately believing he was in the way or bothering this person.

"Don't say sorry, it's fine. We just wanted to know if you were alright. Right, Happy?"

Jungkook's eyes turned the size of saucers when he heard the squeaky high voice that came next.

"Aye!"

He squinted his eyes and sure enough, he could see a furry blue cat sitting on the man's shoulder. Was...was the cat wearing a little green backpack? It looked a lot like Jungkook's red backpack, only way smaller.

A talking cat with a similar but tinier backpack. Alright then.

"I-I think I'm fine." Jungkook said, grabbing his backpack and getting back up on his feet. He suppressed the hiss that wanted to leave his lips when he felt a sting in his back. "I-I fell."

"You shouldn't lie, it's bad for your appetite." The blue cat replied, munching on a fish that, according to Jungkook, seemed to appear out of nowhere. "We know you didn't fall, we saw you get thrown out by those people."
