Chapter 2

One Fairy Tail stamp on his collarbone later and Jungkook was chatting with lots of (mostly young) people. There was a girl named Wendy, who wasn't that much older than he was, a boy named Romeo of around the same age and other than that everyone was at least eighteen years old (because Jungkook didn't count the kids of a woman called Bisca, because they were way younger than he was). 

Chatting with these people was fun. It all went so fast; they learned his name and almost straight away he was considered a friend. Of course, there had been questions about his magic, but he had skillfully turned the conversation around each and every time.

"Well, Jungkook, do you want to go on a mission?" Natsu's voice sounded and Jungkook looked up with big eyes.

"I can go on missions already?" he asked.

"Of course you can!" Happy's squeaky voice exclaimed, appearing from behind Natsu. "Let's go to the mission board, there must be something you like!"

A feeling of enthusiasm bubbled in Jungkook's stomach and he grinned. He nodded at Natsu and Happy and ran after them towards the request board. It was a huge board at the back of the guildhall and it was filled with papers. On each paper stood the word 'Request', some information and the payment.

Jungkook was overwhelmed by the number of requests.

"Wow...there's so many of them..." he mumbled, more to himself.

"You can choose anything!" Natsu said with a grin, crossing his arms confidently. "I'm sure we'll be able to do it!"

Jungkook looked at Natsu in surprise. "W-We?"

"Aye!" Happy shouted happily.

"Yeah! You're my new friend, so let's do your first mission together." Natsu suggested, not really waiting for Jungkook's reply. He turned back towards the request board and started mumbling whatever stood on the papers.

Jungkook felt this amazing feeling of being accepted and he grinned as enthusiasm filled him. He took a look at the request board again as well and then saw a decent looking request. It was a paper that said:

"Out of Control Forest Demon

In the forest near Onibus, a young creature lives. It looks like a human, but the villagers call them a demon. The demon is out of control, please help us catch it.

Reward: 200.000 Jewels"

Jungkook looked at the small picture that was attached to the request and frowned. That didn't look like a demon to him. Then again, it said this creature supposedly looked like a human, so Jungkook wasn't sure.

"There's not much information on these requests, is there?" Jungkook asked Natsu.

"Mwahh, I don't care, usually the people who request this will tell us some stuff and we beat up the bad guy and then it's done. No need for too many words on a request paper." Natsu shrugged.

"Natsu doesn't like reading." Happy whispered in Jungkook's ear, but Natsu could hear him of course and they started nagging at each other.

"Okay then..." Jungkook mumbled, though his curiosity wasn't gone. He wanted to know more about this request, he wanted to know who or what this creature was and why it was out of control. If it had been a dangerous creature, the villagers would've wanted it gone a long time ago, wouldn't they? They wouldn't have just let it live in the forest next to their village.

"Shall we take this request?" Jungkook asked.

"Sure!" Natsu exclaimed, not even taking a look at the paper. Jungkook believed he had already forgotten what the request was about.
