Arthur had arrived early bring Kaldur with him. "You have nothing to worry about, you were not even there."
The words did little to ease the discomfort the young Atlantian was feeling. "I understand your majesty, but they are my team and I am their leader. Their actions are my consequences I am responsible for them. I should have been there, with all due respect I do miss home but here I have a duty to uphold. I am unable to do that when I'm not here." The king nodded in response, the young Atlantian was torn and he could sympathise. Putting a hand on his shoulder Arthur grasped his protégé as a sign of support. Turning to face his mentor he felt an overwhelming urge to ask about the event about to transpire. The older Atlantian met his eye an lifted his head, agree to answer the questions, he waved his hand in the motion telling him to go ahead. "Its just, do you know who will be attending? Is everyone alright? Do you have any idea what the punishment might be?" The words flowed from his mouth, his anxieties out in the open.
Taking in a deep breath "I believe the majority of the founders should be arriving, as is Dinah, seems she has a soft spot for you kid." With a smile and a brief pause he continued, the smile wiped clean off of his face. "As far as I'm aware, the bulk of those injured have reached a level of near full recovery. The girls however, I am not too sure, nor am I convinced by their reassurances of being 'fine'. The other mentors should be arriving as will Vixen. Finally, the punishment I am not sure of what it is or who will be sentencing it. I am sorry Kaldur". With a small defeated "thank you", Aqualad went to join his team.
