Chapter 5:Shipped
3rd POV
Colby and Y/N fell asleep on the couch, each near each other but respecting personal space. It took a while for the mother figure, Payton, and the practical sister, Hannah, to see that this had happened.
"Is something goin' in between 'em?" Payton asked.
"Chance," Hannah shortly responded, due to her tiredness lurking her. On the other hand, Payton was wide awake and ready to stay up for hours. The consequence, she would be sleeping in once again.
"I say we just leave them on the couch, throw a blanket on them," Payton suggested.
"Sure, buuuuut," Hannah drew her words out from a yawn.
"What?" Payton asked.
"Let's give them the regret of falling asleep on the couch," Hannah said with her devilish smirk.
"I'm intrigued," Payton response was. Hannah told her plan and Payton let out a small chuckle.
"Let's execute that plan then," Payton said standing up to get a blanket.
She got a blanket that would easily cover the two with more just Incase they turned and twisted. She threw it over the two of them, she quickly snatched Y/N's beanie she put on before eating. Hannah had already passed out in her bed with her nightwear on.
Payton walked to Y/N's room and placed the beanie on Y/N's desk. She then realized it was some merchandise they put out. It said 'Hello Bye." It was an idea that Y/N debated on for weeks on end. The shirts they had available with the design that said "Hello Bye," on some of the stitched seams, and also on the cuffs of sleeves.
Payton snapped herself out of her thoughts and walked out of the room. Before she stepped in her room she looked at the view out the window.
She quietly whispered to herself, "This is my life. Surrounded by people who I love... I am mainly where I want to be." She stood up and walked over to her room. She turned her computer on, and then her tall desk lamp where she took notes and did art. She would be spending this time working, usually, Y/N would also be up. Today is a bit different for her though. She loved having her night owl buddy, the one who was like her daughter since 6th.
Payton smiled to herself thinking about old times, then left out a small sigh. She started editing a video where she showed off her favorite art supply and drew something she loved. A horse.
Time Skip
Colby wakes up a couple hours later, even though he was a heavy sleeper. He looked to the side of him to see that Y/N was shivering to the cold air that surrounded her. She had given the entire blanket to Colby a while prior.
Colby, being the nice guy he was, threw the blanket over the sleeping girl once again. He kept it over himself as well. He fell asleep not too long after.
In the morning
Hannah wakes up, slapping her alarm on her phone.
"I hate you, you damn alarm," Hannah groggily mumbles.
She gets out of bed and grabs a towel and her clothes of today. She takes a shower and walks to the living room, trying aptitude all her might not to squeal with happiness. She takes a picture of the Y/N and Colby. It wasn't too much, just you laying closer to him. Your head gently rested on his shoulder. Hannah takes many photos, resisting the urge to post one. She walks to Payton's room to see that she had thrown her blanket off the bed, and Payton laying on the bed shivering dead asleep.
Hannah threw the blanket on Payton and took the phone from Payton's hands. She plugged it into the charger. She looked at what Payton worked on last night, a girl in the pansexual colors showing she was proud. Hannah walked back to her room to do her makeup and decided to record herself doing it.
"Hey lovelies!" She said after the camera was on. "I'm going to show you the simple make up I do to myself." She finished the intro and went on to the makeup. She was soon finished with an easy-to-edit video.
She started to edit so she could get this out of the way. She published today's video to also get out of the way. Her stomach growled so she got up and stepped into the kitchen. She opened the fridge and heard a voice from behind.
"Sis?" Said a tired voice. She turned and saw Y/N.
"Go back to sleep, you haven't gotten good sleep in a while," Hannah responded.
Y/N was too tired to argue or complain so she placed her head back on Colby's shoulder. She wasn't aware of her actions. She fell asleep quickly, sleep was all she wanted and needed at the moment. Hannah smiles and took another picture of the two, then proceeded to make her own breakfast. Hannah walked to Y/N's room to grab a phone case.
The three were so close they could go into one another's room and take each other's stuff. At times this was frustrating for the roommates but usually, it wasn't a problem. Hannah grabbed a normal white phone case she would be decorating tomorrow. She was about to walk out of the room when Y/N's phone caught her eye. She knew the password, so she went onto her phone. She scrolled thru what had been new on her phone. She saw a picture that she had never seen.
Y/N with a dark-haired boy. But it didn't look like Colby. It had been taken a long while ago, she had seen it where she edited little things. It wasn't edited, just left plain. Hannah places the phone down, walking out thinking thru the people they had met previously.
"Maybe it was one of them," she thought out loud. She walked into her room, threw herself on the bed, and scrolled thru Pinterest.
A couple hours later Colby wakes up, feeling a weight on his shoulder. He turns his head slightly to see
Y/N on his shoulder. Y/N wakes up, and a few moments pass and she realizes what's happening.
She jumps back and repeatedly apologizing.
"It's fine," Colby said cutting off the apologizing.
