Save Me From Myself (Midoriya x Todoroki)

Chapter 2: Todoroki

Deku POV

"O-Oh, Sorry...I didn't notice that you were there..." I mumble, looking down in embarrassment, wanting to bury myself in a hole.

He stares as me, his face completely devoid of emotion.

I pick myself up, dusting off the invisible dust off of my clothes. "Are you new here? I don't remember seeing you around." I ask.

He nods hesitantly. Probably worried about my mental health and the rest of the useless things.

"What's your name? My name is Izuku Midoriya, nice to meet you! But you can call me Deku, everyone else does anyway."

"....Shoto Todoroki."

'Todoroki? Like Enji Todoroki? The #2 Pro Hero? I heard some rumors about him....maybe I can ask Todoroki-kun if they are true..'

"What class are you in? I think I can lead you there."

"3-A"

"I'm in that class too! Just follow me!" 'he does really talk much does he...but maybe I can finally have a friend...'

*Mini timeskip because I am a lazy piece of shit. Deal with it.*

We stand in front of the door to the classroom, "Here we are."

I say knowing that he probably wouldn't answer, he doesn't talk much. So I guess that's a good thing.

I open the door and am instantly greeted with groans and glares. I guess I have that effect on people.

I sit in my seat and motion for Todoroki to sit next to mine, seeing that it's the only empty seat because no one wants to sit next to 'Deku'.

The teacher comes in, late as always and start rambling excuses that no one cares to hear about and after 5 minutes of useless excuses she finally starts to do her job.

I start to doodle in my notebook, not paying attention because I already learned this stuff, like last year while reading in the library while hiding from Kac-Bakugo and his other friends. It seems like Todoroki is also bored, he's trying to act like he's paying attention, but he's a horrible actor.

The bell rings just as the teacher starts talking about her personal life (why would I want to know about her ex-boyfriend?)

I feel a little faint,but I brush it off, I'll just visit the nurse later.

That's probably the best idea.
