"So this is an upgrade to Karen that should allow her to be able to project a map of the area within a one mile radius of wherever the suit is." Tony tried to hold eye contact with Peter. "I was hoping you could help me on it. You seem to always go on and on about science and technology whenever you're here."

"Do you even remember the last time I was here Mr. Stark?" Peter interrupted the blabbering billionaire. "A lot has changed since then."

Peter picked up one of the gadgets lying on the counter and began carelessly tossing it around, something he never would have done before. Tony noted this down. He could tell something else was bothering Peter, aside from his Aunt's death, but he couldn't pinpoint what.

"For one thing, my aunt is dead, I live in an orphanage, have no friends, and-" Peter's voice broke off right then. He didn't want to finish what he was going to say.

"And what Pete?" Tony once more tried to look Peter in the eye. He softly asked, "What were you going to say?" He didn't want to agitate the poor boy more than he already had. "I want to know because I care."

"I was going to say NO ONE CARED!" The pure rage in Peter's voice surprised Tony. "I was in an orphanage for months and no one gave a damn! The only reason you found out was because Karen told you and that took me throwing up my guts in an alley to get your attention!"

Once Peter started he couldn't stop. "I sat alone at lunch every single day because Ned moved away, but did you know? No you did not. And I don't think-" Peter's voice broke once again. He gripped the counter next to him hard enough to turn his knuckles white and his body began to sway. "I don't- I don't." Peter's eyes rolled back and without warning, he collapsed to the floor."
