Chapter Four: Se7en

Alaska yelled for miles over and over until he was crying, Mike covered his mouth quickly and will shoved his hand off, Being defensive. 

"You didn't do that to me. So don't do it to Alaska." Will gave mike a stern look.

"Fine." Mike said abruptly. 

"We need to split up." Dustin said, "Don't worry. I have a friend that could help." Dustin said with a smile.

They all looked at Dustin. Until Alaska put his head down. And sniffed.

He sighed. It was strong, They all felt it, like a shockwave. Repeating through their minds. It touched them. 

"This may be our last chance. I'm sorry. Ever since I came here, I've been a nuisance. I put Hawkins in danger, And I've been all of you in it too. 

I shouldn't have. Now miles is gone, And we're lost, In the Upside Down, Everything's broken, We're shattered, Everything's gone. 

We've lost. I've lost, You've lost, Its like glass. It just- it's like Acid on glass. Can't be undone. 

And I've caused it." Alaska looked up at them. They all looked hurt. The words that came out of Alaska's mouth were like ink and fable. 

It was like a story. An untold story, Being released to the world. Echoing through their heart, Minds and body.

Like a child's first steps, Discovering something new, Changing their perspective about a person.

"I-" Mike started, but couldn't finish. Alaska looked up at the top of the tunnel and closed his eyes.

He drowned out everything. He stopped thinking, With each breath just bringing back a memory.

Thinking that it could've been Miles's last.

He looked back down at them and his eyes were a pale white. You could see them through the dark.

".." Everyone stared, But Alaska wasn't actually there. Not his mind.

He was in a white realm-like place. And he saw Miles. 

Miles walked up to him, And placed a hand on his cheek. "Your beautiful, Okay? You'll see me again. This isn't a place to die." Miles said with a smile.

 But he couldn't hear Alaska. It was a dream like realm.

Miles hugged him and faded away. Alaska returning back to reality. 

"Alaska? Are you okay??" Lucas said worryingly. 

"Miles..." Alaska said with a frown, Soon turning into the softest, Brightest smile you've seen.

With a tear streaming down his face.

"He's alive. He's here. Were gonna find him. We- Were gonna find him." He said turning happy again.

pulling them all into a hug.

They all looked at each other with confident smirks.

They split up. Looking for Miles.

Dustin, Alaska, and Lucas went one way, Mike, Will and Max went the other.

They had faith. They believed in each other. They were like brothers and sister.

They were Seven. Seven amazing people. who can change the world. Change peoples perspective. 

Make a difference. Fix their mistakes. And turn them into memories.

They searched for hours, Getting weaker at the second.

But they didn't give up. Until Alaska tripped over a vine. 

He got up, but stumbled back. He grabbed on to the wall and steadied himself. continuing to walk.

He got dizzier. He wondered how the others where but couldn't think straight.

He tripped over another vine, he took one last breath before falling back into the dark.

Until he was in a blank world. Listening to his own heartbeat. Surrounding himself in silence. 

Like water.

Then a loud noise hit him, Like a bullet, or an arrow, and he woke up. 

He sat up and rubbed his head. looking over in a dark corner when something flashed and he saw who it was.

It was Miles.

"Miles..." Alaska said softly. Getting up quickly even if standing felt like lifting a thousand pounds.

He grabbed him. Hugged him tightly when he found a heartbeat.

"I told you I'd find you. You owe me, Okay?" He said with a smile and chuckling

When miles opened his eyes a little and smiled.

Alaska put on a hand on his cheek and looked at the floor.

"I'm so proud of you." He said looking at Miles. "I never gave up. Not on you anyways." 

Miles sat up and grabbed Alaska's arm, putting the other one around him to pull him closer. 

"You once told me "you have to go after what you want. It isn't going to come to you.""

Miles looked at Alaska and stared at him for a few seconds, But it felt like hours, Like processing data. 

Miles leaned in a little, So did Alaska, Miles put his hand on Alaska's cheek and kissed him slowly.

But Alaska kissed back. They felt happy, Reunited, they put aside all negative thoughts. 

Then the other 5 ran in. they stopped and stared. Max linked on to Lucas, Will Grasped Mike, and Dustin hugged dart.

It was a happy moment. Until the heard the loudest screeching like noise from in the tunnels.

Everyone stopped and looked.

Alaska got serious again.

"He's here."
