Chapter 1:A Grimm discovery

I had just finished my latest project it was an aura cloaker. it would be great against grimm. It was also a wrist watch that had a few more features too. The wrist watch was named dune. A little about me i am 15 years old and saw my fair share of combat,unless its an official match i stick to self defense,Grimm are a different story I would kill them if they bothered me but now i had dune and now i could do up close experiments without attracting any unwanted attention and i could see how they go with their lives.I had two SMG's that produced their own ammunition with elemental bullets and no reload

I decided to call them Jack n sally or Js for short i also had a sword that has every element in one leaving shocking blows on anyone hit with it, i can also just make it no element or just one instead of all. I had another idea in mind it would take a longer time to invent than my others, it was a portable aura generator it would be dangerous in the wrong hands. My semblance was very good for inventing or constructing it was passive and let me see the flaws in construction and any object that was man made it would be annoying but i have been pleased with the fact that it geos around the area i love and it meant i could make something perfect once the flaws were fixed, I put Dune on i had a teleporter feature on the watch but i needed signals i already put them up in everywhere i might need to be i had some in caves i had on placed at the front of beacon,one in an ally way at Atlas,and vale Etc. I teleported to a place where nothing grows but grimm it was red with black puddles and it was nothing but darkness everywhere i wasn't able to get in very far the first time there were millions of Grimm, with the new watch it should no longer be a problem i headed into the deserted plains and saw tons of Beowulfs looking at me i stayed still they walked up to me and i was getting nervous but stood my ground still instead of biting me or anything they just sniffed me and left one beowulf rubbed his head against my arm then left with his pack i was amazed it really did work i left for a black puddle i brought tubes and other science equipment with me first i put a thermometer in it, it seemed to be rather warm i noted that down next i put some gloves on and grabbed a huge glass container in the shape of a circle and started filling it up i stepped back from the puddle and a Grimm formed it was another beowulf i sat down and started studying them and seeing wether or not specific puddles produce specific grimm or all types of Grimm. Beowulf's popped out most of them time within the next two hours a regular Ursa and a beowulf came out but no other Grimm yet. It stopped spawning Grimm i decided i would put cameras up and set up live footage and recorded footage at the same time next after the wireless long range cameras set up i wanted to test their intelligence i wasn't expecting much after all their they say their stupid but for all i know they mean Tactic wise i walked in front of a beowulf and first started off with a thigh pat to see if he would come over he did next i tried saying sit it did i was fascinated it i tried some more dog commands. i told it to roll and did a circle motion with my index it tilted its head in confusion next i tried saying lay down it also tilted its head in confusion after some demonstrating it did, then i patted its head and it seemed to like it, next instead of patting i started petting it,it seemed....happy i wrote everything down and was amazed Beowulf's know basic commands and they seem to carry at least some emotion i got up and patted my thigh again as to indicate it too come here it did i activated my watch and hold onto him and in the blink of an eye i was home and so was the beowulf it sniffed around but seemed cozy enough and didn't destroy anything i wanted to try and get it to be nice to people with an aura so i deactivated my aura cloaker he looked at me and started growling it looked like he was contemplating wether to attack or not in the end he didn't and just sat down on the floor i told him it would mean alot if he didn't attack anyone. He amazingly understood and nodded now i'm unsure if this is true or just a nod that meant little i pulled out the glass jar full of grimm substance i started examining it and playing with it then i tried mixing it with some liquified dust that i also made and was most likely the only machine that could make liquid dust. I started off with liquid fire and a small amount and a medium amount of grimm puddle. in a room that was basically immune to all from if damages from the inside i had a basement i used for inventing and testing never know when something could go south. Once i finished adding the things together surprisingly nothing exploded fire dust was well known for that but the puddle became red and a creature started coming out it was a beowulf that had fire coming out from the back of its jaws and it was red with the regular grimm mask and its tail had fire coming off it at the tip of it,it looked cool it growled at me and tried attacking me but before it pounced the normal beowulf got in the way and started growling at it i made a mental note to test if grimm communicate via growl or some other method the Fire beowulf calmed down and walked to me and snuggled against me it was warn not too hot but i was still relived that my other companion saved my ass from a fight. It then hit me i need to build these guys a place to live that also suits their needs and so my research went to a temporary halt.
