Karmani Perspective :It's Sunday, I get up brush my teeth and stuff and then make breakfast. I keep thinking about last night. I keep thinking about Jamal and everything he said. I keep thinking about how I was a asshole to the dude who tried to help me, I want to apologize but I don't even know if imma see him again.
My phone rings pulling me out of my day dream, it's my bestie...
"Miyaaah..." I whine over the phone as she answers.
"Maaaani..." she mocks me
"I had the worst night ever last night."
"Aww... what happened Nooda?" She baby talks me
I told her everything Jamal did. My eyes fill with water just talking about it.
"Then I was really mean to this really cute dude who tired to see about me last night after it happened. I gotta apologize to him."
"Oh my fucking God... Mani, you gotta do something about Jamal. I'm scared for you."
"I'm scared for myself. It's like he'll disappear for how ever long until he feel like I'm fucking with somebody else but I'm not even dealing with another nigga right not. But he gets worse every time."
"When I get back in town, we going to buy you a gun and we going straight to the gun range to work on your head shots."
I laugh at her cause she know I hate guns.
"Okay best friend."
"I have to go, I'll call you as soon as I can."
"Alright. Thank you for everything."
"You're welcome, bye bestie."
"Bye" she hangs up.
. . . Later that day, around 5pm
I sit on my couch watching Tv my phone dings. I pick it up to see an Unkown number text me. . .
(404)287-7701: I'll be back tonight
My heart stops. I can feel my chest get tight. Why won't he just leave me alone? He doesn't want me to be with nobody but he don't wanna be with me, I don't understand. Why won't he just leave me alone God? I get up and start getting ready for work to get my mind off him.
My phone starts ringing. I answer and I sat it up so she could see me
"Hay Jay"
"Hay boo! You going to work tonight?"
"Yeah, I'm getting ready now. Why, wassup?"
"Cause I'm bored as hell and I feel like going to the booty club but the only bitch I'll ever throw my hard earned money on is you suh"
"Well good cause I need to talk to you anyway. I'll come get you when I leave for work. "
"Okay, call me when you leave the house."
