The plane landed in New York

Mom: I'll take Jun to the hotel. You guys can head there ok.

Dad: We'll see each other later

We got a taxi to drive us to the hospital

Y/N: How did this happen ?

Dad: The man she was with was drunk

Y/N: Why can't people just grab a taxi is they are drunk ? I can't imagine what other people he hurted

Dad: It's tough

Y/N: I feel so bad I couldn't tell Jungkook

Dad: But she wanted it that way. She just wanted to see you.

My dad had told me that day I left the house with Jun about Jungkooks mom. She didn't want Jungkook to know she was in the hospital. Instead she asked for me to go there. They got hold of my dad because she still had him as 'Husband' in her contacts

We arrived at her room and I couldn't believe it

Y/N: Mother in law...

She smiled at me. Tears ran down her face. I went to her and held her hand.

Y/N: What did the doctors say ?

Mrs.Jeon: He passed away... *looks away* and I might not be able to walk again

It felt like my world just went pitch black. I couldn't believe what she just said.

Dad: I'm sure you can with therapy

Mrs.Jeon: I don't have the money to do the therapys. I'll need a lot of care and I don't want Jungkook to know.

Y/N: Don't worry *smiles* I'll be next to you until you can walk again. I'll pay for your therapy.

Mrs.Jeon: Oh no please Y/N I don't deserve it. After what I did to you I can't accept it.

Y/N: You're my mother in law now. I have to look out for you too. That can stay in the past.

Mrs.Jeon: Thank you so much *crying*

Dad: I'll go let the doctor know *leaves*

Mrs.Jeon: How's Jungkook doing ? *wipes her tears* it's been long since I saw him

Y/N: He's doing fine. He's been working really hard and being a great dad as well as husband. You have to get better soon because we are expecting another baby.

Mrs.Jeon: Omg Congratualtions dear !

Y/N: Thank you Mother *smiles*

Mrs.Jeon: Did my grandchild came along ?

Y/N: Yeah..thats why Jungkook was confused..I didn't tell him where I was going and just left.

Mrs.Jeon: Knowing him he's probably thinking the worst scenarios

Y/N: I told him I'll be back soon..but now I promise to be back once you are recovered

Mrs.Jeon: Thank you so much

Dad: Everything is set. The doctor said you'll start tomorrow.

Y/N: Dad you should go with mom in case she needs anything. I'll be sleeping here from now on. Please take care of Jun for me.
