Chapter 4

Barry and iris were standing at the location Goldface told them about. They looked around but there was no sign of Goldface. Suddenly, the floor began to open and Barry and iris fell in. They were falling until they landed on their backs with a thud. They were in the Black Market, a group of dangerous criminals who sell weapons and commit lots of crime. A man led them through a passage way to a bright light room. Goldface was waiting for them there. There were men standing all around them with guns. You finally came Goldface said with a grin. Do you have my money? He asked. Yeah we have your money. but we're keeping some. Barry said. No can do. I'm afraid I'm gonna have to take all of it. Goldface said. But we made a deal. We split the money and we both get half. Barry said angrily. I know, but the Black market needs that money. For new weapons and for medical requirements. You see, recently five of our guys got in a brawl with some other gang. The gang stole five of our weapons and injured our guys. And apart from that, someone very bad who's from another rival gang, knows about us. He said he'd keep his mouth shut about me and the Black market, if we pay him 50 grand. Goldface explained. But we worked hard for that money. Iris said. Goldface began to laugh. I think you mean robbed. You robbed hard for that money. Goldface said as some of his men laughed. Hell we did! And we're not leaving without our half. Barry said. Barry? You don't want any trouble? Do you? Goldface asked. Barry didn't answer. Why don't you two go back to robbing banks and stores and when you have a pot load of money, we can split it. Goldface said. Just then, Barry and iris pulled out their guns and pointed them at Goldface. We're taking some of the money, Barry said. So that's how you want it, Golface said faking a small laugh. Goldface and his men pulled out their guns. Barry and iris looked at each other. Iris walked towards Goldface. I think we can make a little deal. We rob more banks, and we split the money? I think we can just let this one slide. Iris said. You see, I knew you guys would understand. Goldface said. While he was distracted, Barry slowly sneaked towards the table where the 3 briefcases were. He took one and tried taking the second one, but he got caught. Boss! He's trying to steal your money! One of the men say. Barry gets up and starts running with Iris close behind. Goldface and his men start shooting at them. But it's too late, they've already gone thru the exit which is further in the back.
