twenty six

the group was there outside of the room hoseok laid in. most of them were sitting down, trying to comfort one another since the news was so sudden.

only one of them couldn't sit and do nothing. he was pacing around the hall, biting his nails. his anxiety was going up. so many questions were running through the vampires mind.

what if it was his fault? did his brother do something? was he always watching his every move and decided to attack the one he loves?

his breath hitched as he felt a hand stop him. jungkook flinged his head to the side, letting sadness take over him as he saw the one person who can calm him down for now.

"hyung."

the brunette gave him a sad smile and pulled him into a hug. he knew how much jungkook was hurting but he couldn't do anything.

"hoseok is going to be okay."

in a split second, the vampire hid his face against the crook of the brunettes neck, silent sobs escaping him.

he clenched his shirt, hoping he'd be alright. "h-hyung, I'm s-scared." the blue haired male watched from afar and pursed his lips. if only he could do something to make things better.

yoongi clenched his jaw in anger, how could he let this happen? he was suppose to take care of hoseok with his life. no, but he was here being distracted with his friends not keeping an eye on his job.

the door open3d, showing a tall man with black-hair and a white robe, grabbing the lads attention. he scanned all the boys, "hoseok called out for a bunny but i don't know what he was talking about so i thought maybe you guys would know."

the groups glanced at the crying jungkook in taehyungs arms. "kookie, they're calling you," he whispered. he sniffled and pulled back a bit from the hug, looking over at the doctor, "t-thats me."

he took a step aside, giving him a small smile and a nod, letting him know he could enter. jungkook took small steps, head hung down, feeling more tears coming down.

as he entered the room his heart broke, hoseok laid there, small tubes connected to his arms. "d-doctor, may i ask-" turning around, he saw no one but the door shut closed.

he took a deep breath in and released slowly, trying to maintain his calm. but his heart began to accelerate as he could see hoseok whimpering in his sleep.

jungkook ran to his side and held his hand, "h-hoseok, it's me. jungkook, wake up." he began to shake the boys arms wanting to wake him up from the horrifying dream he was having.

"jung hoseok!"

his eyes shot open as if he were summoned. he took a large breath in, he felt himself being suffocated. hoseok pushed himself up, placing a hand on his chest taking air into his lungs while sweat dripped down his forehead.

jungkook stood there in the verge in tears again. he sniffled his red nose and bit the inside of his mouth not wanting to cry anymore. if he continues his now red, puffy eyes would look ugly.

but in honesty, he didn't care. his lips quivered and he finally let a tear escape him. the tears kept spilling and he stood there, silently crying to himself, hand in hand with the boy he has learned to love.

he let his head hung down with his free hand covering his face. his breathing was out of control, he was so happy. hoseok, in the other hand, sat there on his bed looking up at the crying vampire.

a frown reached his face, he brought his hand up to reach jungkooks and he slowly brought it down, opening a view he'd never want to see again. "bunny, what's wrong?"

jungkook continued to cry, clear substances dripping down to his chin hitting the wooden floor. hoseok took a hold of jungkooks chin and made the male look at him.

it hurt hoseok seeing the vampire cry. he let out a small smile as he began leaning closer to him, breaking the distance between them.

"neh, jungkook, don't leave me." jungkook crunched his eyebrows in confusion and sniffled, "i-i would n-never."

hoseok smiled continuing to lean in, enough to feel jungkooks hot break against him. "then we'd be okay with doing this."

before jungkook could respond, a pair of lips caught his. the vampires eyes widen at the sudden action. it took a moment before closing his eyes, falling into the kiss.

the two felt joy run through them. they finally got what they wanted. hoseok pulled back and chuckled as he saw the boy with snot running down his nose.

"my bunny, go grab a tissue, you have snot running down your nose." jungkooks eyes shot open, quickly covering his nose with his hands, cheeks flushed. he quickly ran over to the tissue box, grabbing one and blowing his nose. how embarrassing.

hoseok admired the embarrassed boy. he loved him so much, so much it hurt him. he looked down at his hand and clenched it.

'i cant let him leave my side. i need him. he cant be taken away from me.'
