I sit on my bed, completely numb to the world around me. It's 3:30 in the morning, and I have a class at 6:45, so I should be sleeping, but I just can't. He'll hit me again.
No!
I better not start crying!
If I cry, I'll wake Eren up, and he'll punish me!
A low sob escapes my lips, and I quickly cover my mouth with my hands. More sobs leave me, and before I know it, I'm having a full blown panic attack.
Eren jumps up, and rushes to me. I scream for him to get off of me, but he doesn't listen. He Lifts me out of my bed, with me thrashing to attempt to get him off of me. I eventually calm down, crying into his shoulder.
"Shh... You're okay..."
"P-please don't hurt me..."
"I would never, Levi!"
He's lying. He's lying.
He's not lying.
"Levi, calm down. I'm not going to hurt you. Don't worry."
He puts my on my bed gently, climbing in, and holding me.
I curl up to him, whimpering and sniffling. He looks me in the eyes, wiping my tears.
"I will never hurt you, Levi. He was a horrible man. I'll never let anything happen to you again."
I can tell he means it, and I nod, nuzzling into his shoulder.
He lifts my head, tipping it towards him, before kissing me on the lips. I freeze, before kissing back. He pulls away a few seconds later, smiling.
"Are you okay?"
I nod, kissing him again.
I don't want this to end. I wrap my arms around his neck, and he pulls me closer by the hips, holding onto me. He deepens the kiss, swiping his tongue across my bottom lip. I open my mouth, and let him take the lead. We make out for about a minute, before he pulls back.
"Go to sleep, Levi. You need to rest."
I nod and curl up to him, falling into a deep sleep, without any nightmares.
