Trails of light snaking through her hair
A pause, a breath, a hint of a smile
Suddenly dark and moody, she leans forward, enraptured
A shadow falls over her face and the sky
In an instant the joy is back and a giggle escapes her lips
Her heart is full, the pain forgotten
She looks up; a faint smile gracing her face
A book is clutched tightly to her chest(I know this could be so much better but my sleepy brain is telling me to write it this way and who am I to argue)

3 A.M. Writings
PoetryI'm joining my friends in this weird yet awesome challenge. We wake up at 3 A.M. every morning to write down whatever comes to mind. I hope you enjoy what I come up with. (@MirMirMiryam and @Richard_Summers are doing this challenge as well.)
