Trails of light snaking through her hair
A pause, a breath, a hint of a smile
Suddenly dark and moody, she leans forward, enraptured
A shadow falls over her face and the sky
In an instant the joy is back and a giggle escapes her lips
Her heart is full, the pain forgotten
She looks up; a faint smile gracing her face
A book is clutched tightly to her chest

(I know this could be so much better but my sleepy brain is telling me to write it this way and who am I to argue)
