"Ronin!"

I closed my mouth millimeters away from the skull of Six.

"Run"

She fell over paralyzed by fear. I turned to the four Operators. Thatcher took off his mask Dokkebi looked at me before sitting down.

"You've got some bad lacerations on your back there Ronin, they look old."

"I was tortured for months by rebels while I was in the spetznaz"

Zofia grimaced.

"Ronin!"

"Weren't you all shot?"

"Mate we work in anti terrorism we have body armor"

"Fair"

I felt Analynn wrap her arms around me before talking.

"I can't believe you're real, Dad will be so happy to see you! Oh and Fuze! He took your advice and modified his charges to have a non lethal. And Glaz got a thermal scope for his sniper! Oh and Kapkan made his traps smaller!"

"To much info at once Ana!"

"Sorry I'm just so happy to see you again!"

"Well Ronin we seem to have an opening in Rainbow would you like to join?"

"I have no other options"

"That's not true!"

"Analynn I can never get a job the way I look, much less live in a city full of normal people"

"I guess you are right"

"It's fine I get to catch up with Father and you"

"Yay!"

She helped me stand up on the bloody tiles. Metal legs are great but when the floor is wet there's a giant slippery mess of blood you fall on your ass a lot.

"Hehe sorry Ronin"

Zofia pulled me up and across the blood into a giant open field.

"Somebody should go arrest six"

"I'll get on it mate!"

"Thanks thatcher!"

"Dokkebi come with me I need help"

"Right!"

This left Analynn, Zofia and me walking to a large concrete building.

"Welcome to rainbow headquarters!"

"Hi Ana! Zofia and... Zombie!?"

"Hello"

"Oh just a cyborg cool, my dad is the same way"

"Ronin this is my Girlfriend Emma White"

"Emma this is my brother Ronin"

I put my hand out to shake and Emma tackled me in a hug.

"I've heard so much about you! Analynn never shuts up about spetznaz with you in it"

"Sorry"

I laughed a hearty laugh, so Analynn found somebody just as quirky as her!

They both looked at me like I was insane.

"Remember what father always said?"

"Find someone just like you to marry?"

"You did just that Analynn!"

She went red as the Russian flag during a fire. Emma did the same thing. I realized that I needed to lift the tension a bit.

"By the way Emma, you were right. He is a zombie"

"Eep!"

It seems Zofia will lift the tension for me this time.

She bolted behind Ana and paled. I continued laughing before I caught a swift punch in the gut. I fell over on my butt.

"Jackass!"

"Why didn't you hit Zofia? I was just gonna not mention it!"

Zofia laughed at me. Ana kept ranting about how it's rude to scare a friend like that. Before she finally chilled out like five minutes later.

"Let's go see dad!"

"We're just gonna brush that off?"

"You deserved it"

"I suppose I did"

I pushed myself up back onto my feet. Ana grabbed her phone and called Alexsandr. I looked at my claws and saw my reflection in the shining metal. I looked up my arm at the mass amounts of wires that were sinking into my skin slowly.  I looked at them as they slightly sparked blue lightning bolting across.

"Hey dad! You'll never guess who stopped by! No just come outside. Yes, relax you'll be happy about who it is. Yes I love you too!"

I laughed again Emma still cowering behind Ana, Ana looking at her.

"Emma you don't have to worry! I'm fully cognitive. Every action is my own will"

"You're still a Zombie."

"I suppose you're correct but I'm not hungry so no problems?"

"I guess so Ronin!"

I laughed again and opened my arms for a hug. Emma kicked me again this time a friendly kick. I faked pain and went down on my side dramatically.

"Weak, you are weak. Ronin"

"Hey Dad, how've you been?"

"It has been far to long my boy! I thought you would've died in the outbreak. Finka told me about the shit show it is out there"

"Oh no father, they did get me. I just withstood it's effects"

"Of course you did. You are Russian!"

I smiled and we talked for the rest of the day.
