I sat up quickly my vision distorted like I was still in the crystalline realm. Then the world spun back into clarity.

"Ronin!"

I blinked before I saw Analynn.

"That was a good nap"

Then she slapped me.

"Don't ever do that again!"

"Ok"

Then she tackled me back to the floor in a hug.

"I was so scared!"

"Me too"

"Alright kiddos it's time to go"

"Are the terrorists dead?"

"Emma sent the clean up team, we should be good now"

The other ops have had odd jobs around the world I've been following all of the chimera virus outbreaks with Finka and Lions help. We've been doing basic attacks on facilities where the scientists don't even know what they're working on. With every facility we destroy I feel Scarlet grow stronger in my head. She can whisper things to me currently. I've told Finka but not Lion because he doesn't need the additional stress of me having an ancient god living in my brain when his daughter was just born.

"Ronin we're here"

"Alright is everybody ready?"

"Yessir"

We had decided to take a group of recruits training to be in rainbow. They all were brilliant in their on ways. We had a combat nurse who's name was Lucy but she preferred to go by Angel while were doing our job. The demolitionist was named Quake because his gadget would make the entire structure quake and collapse in a very rare occasion. Then we had Matches, he was a strange one he took the place of Lion today he works with explosives too, but he typically burns his enemies alive like Goyo but Marches just has remotely detonatable canisters of napalm.

"Listen up, we need to extract Dr. Ivanosky she has been working on making the Chimera virus able to transform and infect people through water contact, she reached out a week ago and we have just received it. We're infiltrating a party held for the most elite of terrorists disguised as the regular elites"

"Do we have a picture?"

"No. All we know is she is of Russian descent, she's got Black hair and Pale red eyes"

"Alright"

"Ronin I'm staying behind on this op lion just called me and he needs my help"

"Ok Finka I've got this. Alright recruits, it's just the four of us doing this today! But although we are a smaller group we will not go down for we are the best of the best!"

"Hoorah!"

"Quake plant charges on the outside in advance so if thing do go undoubtedly south we have a diversion." He nodded before scurrying away. "Angel get ready for wounds." She nodded and grabbed her kit. "Matches, lets have some fun, no?" I heard a dry chuckle before he nodded.

"You all should get dressed after all it is a party, I'll be scouting in the shadows for obvious reasons"

"It's ok Ronin we've got it" she gave a cute little smile before disappearing to change into her outfit.

I left the area and went into the shadows. I sat in a tree watching the targets before seeing a familiar face in the crowd.

"Matty?"

I heard a gunshot and dozens of masks and other terrorist swarmed the floor. I surged forward shattering the window before I grabbed my pistol and shot the nearest one.

"Ronin?"

"Matty what in the hell are you doing here?"

"I'm an FBI agent Ronin. You?"

"Rainbow. Where is small Sarah"

"Friends house for the week. She's 14 now. Not so small anymore"

"Hey sorry to interrupt but terrorists."

"Right, I forgot Angel"

"Yes?"

"Would you like to shoot some people now?"

"I don't know 'bout her but I'd love to"

"How about I find the Doctor?"

"Good idea"

I chased after a mask who was holding a shotgun aimed at Angel.

"I've got your back"

"Thank you!"

I tossed Matty his gun and she started shooting those who weren't being slashed by my claws.

"Quake let's have some fun!"

"Ronin I hope you know I'm making you come over to see Sarah"

"I could try to recruit you to rainbow too. You said you're already in the FBI so I could pull a few strings"

"Deal"

"Quake detonate it now!"

"Yessir"

The entire building shook and started to fall apart.

"Matches watch the exits!"

"Hmmm"

"Angel make a break for it we watch your back!"

"Okay!"

I covered her with a shotgun from all of the masks.

"Nitro out!"

"Oh shit we need to run!"

We were propelled forward out of a window by the explosion.
