she was there for
him even through
his endless mistakes
she was there for him
after his undying need
for forgiveness as his
dying breath
she held onto his
legacy and spoke
a million truths of him
she upheld her hold
as the one to become
one with his heart
but all she did was wonder
as she laid in her
bed while letting out
her dying breath
"did i do enough?"
