~YOUR POV~
I heard it all, I ran down the stairs, left them a note, then ran out the door with a couple knives. I cried the whole way. I love him, why would he promise me love, and just throw it all away? Empty promises, that's all he can give. Nothing but empty promises. I'm not sure if I want to see him again or not. I ran back to the one place I felt truly safe (for some reason) and that was the abandoned hospital, in the middle of nowhere. There are two parts to it and a big long tunnel under one of the buildings. It had a lot of graffiti and stuff, loads of broken glass and shrapnel in general. I hid in the smaller one usually, but I couldn't today, because a bunch of collage students were using it to film something, so I just hid in the bigger building, and looked down at the smaller one, I heard them talking at times, then after a while, it went completely silent, except for the sound of coughing coming from one room. I brushed it off and just stayed there, looking out of the window, watching the days go past.
Day after day, week after week.
I just sat there, for 4 weeks, eating rabbits, birds, that sorta thing. Those people came back a couple times, then they stopped their visits, until a new person had a daily visit, for a good hour or so, then he would leave. He wore a black mask, black gloves, jeans and a yellow hoodie. One day he came up to when I was walking around, he didn't talk, he just stopped me, looked at me, then walked off again. Strange. I decided to move away, this guy is kinda creepy. I moved off to my grandparents old house, in the woods. I know it was dangerous being in the woods, Helen would be able to find me easy, but it was the only place I could go. I stayed there for about 2 months, living off the same stuff as before, drinking from the stream not far from the house itself.
I was looking out the window again, when I saw her, Angel, looking around, calling my name. I hid in one of the old closets, but as I opened it, I saw him, the guy that was stalking me. I wanted to scream, but he held his hand over my mouth and pulled me in.
"What are you doing here?!" I whisper yell. he put one finger to his lips, then he pointed outside, then pulled out an iron pipe. My eyes widen in fear, as he stepped outside, closed the door, then I waited a while, then I heard a scream and a loud crash. I stepped outside, and walked out to the hall, and I saw Angel knocked out on the floor, and the hooded guy holding the pipe in both hands, he just hit her with it. He looked back at me, and dropped the pipe. I just stared at him "th-thank you." I could see his mask move slightly, like he was smiling.
"Wh-why are you helping me?"
His smile faded, and he moved close to me, and whispered in my ear "I know what you are going through, and I wish to help"
"Y-you do?"
He nodded his head, and I smiled. "P-please talk, I don't like not hearing people."
"O-ok, I don't really like t-talking, but I will f-for you."
"Thanks. what's your name?"
"B-bri- Hoodie"
"What's your real name Hoodie."
"B-Brian."
"Well hello Brian, I'm (y/n)"
"(Y/n)? Can you p-please call me Hoodie?"
"Ok, for you." I giggled and he chuckled lightly.
"Why are you hiding from her?"
"I don't want to talk to her, she stole my love."
"Your l-love?"
"Yea, they must be lookin for me. It's been two months, why are they still trying?"
"I-I don't know."
"We need to make sure she doesn't get out anytime soon, make sure that she doesn't wake I or get out, imma get the rope from the basement."
He nodded as I went down to the basement and picked up the rope from the hook, then ran back up. Thankfully she hadn't woken up yet, Hoodie put her on the chair and tied her down, as I took all sharp objects from her, or what possibly could be a sharp object, and moved all of them out of reach.
"I think she is secure enough"
He nodded as we left the room and locked the door.
"Why are you trying to make sure she doesn't get out?"
"I don't want them finding me."
"Them?"
"Helen."
"Who's Helen? Is she another one after you?"
"It's a guy. I know, it's weird. and yea he is after me, but not in a bad way."
"Oh, ok."
"Thanks Hoodie."
"It's ok, anything to get away from that damn hospital for once"
"Yea why were you in there?"
"Long story."
"O-ok."
We left the house, as walked deeper into the woods, watching our backs at every little noise. What was he so paranoid about?
"Hoodie?"
"Y-yes?"
"Why are you so paranoid?"
"B-because somebody, or should I say some people are after me as well."
"How many?"
"About.... 4?"
"4?!"
"Yup."
"Why are they all after you?"
"Varied reasons."
"Like?"
"i cant tell you sorry, i would be in deeper shit than i already am if i told you."
"o-oh.... ok then."
"sorry."
"No it's ok, it's your privacy, and life, isn't it?" I giggled, trying to lighten the mood.
"Y-yea."
We walked deeper and deeper into the woods, getting to know each other better, I guess he is a best friend now, not sure though.
We were about to part ways, when we heard..... two voices, coming from both sides. One was Helen I could tell, but the other, was much, much deeper, and wasn't calling his name. Hoodie or Brian.
"(Y/N)?! WHERE ARE YOU COME ON!" Yelled Helen from one side.
"COME ON HOODED GUY!! SHOW YOUR FACE!! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?!"
We both looked at each other in panic, as we ran as fast as we could, making sure that nether of us got left behind.
