Levi's POV

When the morning stroke, I woke up on the warm floor and sat up, stretching. Looking around, I saw no sign of any demons so I thought I'd pull my plan together. I stood up and looked up on the barred window of my cell. It seemed to be easy to break because of how old things in this place is.

I found a blade under the sheets of the bed last night so I took it and started cutting the bars to my way out of there. Just then, as I cut the first bar, I heard a conversation from the king and a guard.

I could only make out a few words. Attack, Angels, Victory. I think those words are enough to understand what's going on. They weren't entering the room so I started cutting the bars faster and faster. I finished all the bars and I can fit through the perfectly sized window.

I looked outside if the coast was clear and it was. I jumped out and started running. Faster, and faster, I can tell that I have made a distance from the castle. I stayed near what seems like a dead forest and rested as I catch my breath. As I was resting, I tries pulling the chains off my neck. With the help of the blade, I cut myself out of it.

"Well those bastards are gonna be after me because of this stupid idea.", I muttered because I don't have any other plans rather than that.

I knew that I have to go further so I stood up once again and ran. In a distance, ahead of me, I saw a light. I don't know what the hell it is but I kept on going towards, and in it.

Streaks of light temporarily blinded me and as my vision comes clear, I saw cars, buildings and things I never saw in hell before. I turned around and saw no sign of the light. I was confused for a second. Where the hell am I?!?!

I walked around to try and make out the place. Then an idea came in my head. I'm at the surface. You know, that place with humans and stuff? The place where I "think" I once was?

I knew that I shouldn't be around because of my identity. I worried about my wings but then I felt them gone from my back. They were literally gone. Looking at my hand, the mark was still there. Now I was more confused.

Are wings not visible in this world? Oh well. I don't need them anyways.

I magically had clothes on so I didn't worry walking around half naked in a crowd of clothed people. It was a noisy place and if you ask me, I think this place is dirtier than hell...

Hanji's POV

That night, I snuck out of home and went to the portal to the surface. I went in and I saw beautiful things. There were flowers, trees, humans, and many other things that you wouldn't see often in heaven. Heaven IS a GREAT place but this?!?! It's full of fun and mysteries! I excitedly ran around and took a great view at EVERYTHING. This is the best!

Though, I made it to this place with tall buildings, factories, smoke, and cars. It was HORRIBLE. It was really great for a view but when it comes to health, I don't approve. I guess this is what dad wanted me to avoid. Pollution. But I kept going. Going to everywhere I can find.

I suddenly felt this strange feeling in my stomach. I don't know what it is. But as I walk to this place with a sign "restaurant" I felt like I wanted to go in. I followed what my "stomach" desired and went in. I saw these delicious looking things the humans are eating. My stomach rumbled more.

I didn't have money which I think is needed because I saw a customer give some and the cashier mentioning "money".

I slowly walked outside of the restaurant and looked around for any FREE food. I walked along and saw this free taste area. I hurried there and tried it. It was GREAT. You know... In Heaven, you don't really need to eat. But here, I have to.

I never knew it was great here. I don't know why dad wanted me to stay out of it.

Just then, I heard a scream nearby. I turned my attention to it. A mysterious person with a hood and mask is holding a bag and a lady was chasing him. I wondered for a while until I knew that the person was a robber. I tried stopping him with some "spells" and managed to make him trip in a normal way.

The person fell but then stood again. He was sturdy. He then ran away with a speed I can't believe a human can have. He seemed suspicious. The lady went to a nearby police station while I went to the direction of where the robber went. Something odd about him is bothering me.

I went on a long road and nothing. I found nothing. I was catching my breath and I stayed in this alleyway which I think I'll hide in for a while because it's warm. I sat down and sighed. Just then, I heard a voice behind me.

"Who are you..", the voice said, startelling me.

I slowly and scaredly turned around and I saw the robber from lately. I stood up quickly and made a distance in front of him. "D-Don't dare hurt me. Also, I have nothing!", I said frightened.

His eyes narrowed as he inspected me just by looking. I stood still, ready to run if he attacks. I was nervous that I forgot about my powers. He then straighten up his body.

"You don't belong here don't you...", he muttered.

I was confused of how he knew....

"E-Excuse me?", I said.

"Tsk. Get outta here.", he then replied.

I asked him if I could just stay in this place for a while but he said he called "dibs" on it. I begged at him. He seemed heartless though. After I annoyed him, he angrily agreed only IF I stop talking to him. I agreed and I stayed there.

"Only one question.", I said. "What's your name?"

He looked at me. "Levi.", he answered. "Levi Ackerman"
