Levi's POV

That moment that time was an experience to remember. As the sun rise, people were starting going out of their houses and enjoy the cool breeze.

I told Hanji that we better leave before people will come crowding soon.

We WALKED back to the alleyway. We did not fly because people might see. We made our wings disappear as well.

On our way, I decided to ask her about HER mark. She just replied that she does not know and that she was born with it. I had a confused face. Even she had one but she just doesn't show.

She changed the topic. "Do you think they're looking for us?", she muttered worriedly.

"Looking for me, yes and you, maybe... I dont know... I mean. You're a princess. They should be all aroud her then.", I replied.

She just stared at the floor. "What if we visit them...", she said.

I facepalmed at her terrible decision. "Why would you even want to come back there?!?!"

"I want to know if they're fine..."

I let out a sigh. "Fine. You go on your own. I'm not going back. Ever!"

She made a sad face knowing that I won't go with her. She stood up, nodded and opened a portal which I don't know was possible..

She took a last glance at me and bid goodbye as she went in the portal. The portal closed and I was left there standing on the alleyway... A silent alleyway...

I sat down and things feel different without her around. I don't know but I felt like there is. Am I worried? No it can't be...

Hanji's POV

I made my way back to my home- Heaven. I walked towards the castle and saw my dad in rage. As he see me, he ran towards me but not welcoming.

"Where have you been?!?!", he shouted.

"D-dad I'll expl--"

"No! You went outside didn't you?!"

"Dad plea---"

"I told you not to! What's wrong with your mind?!"

"There plenty of great things out there!"

"Hanji I said n---"

Just then, a sudden portal appeared behind me. I turned my back and saw Levi coming in. He has that dead insde face again.

"I beg your pardon sir but what you're doing is unacceptable.",he started.

"You! You're the demon who tempted Hanji to disobey me!", dad replied angrily.

I tried stoping a fight. "No dad I went on my own will!"

Levi went in front of me, between me and dad. He gave him a serious look.

"Why would you stop her from getting to know the world hm? Or maybe.. you're hiding something from her."

When dad heared his words, I saw him look nervous. I was confused. But Levi continued.

"A secret you've hid from her and ONLY her. Am I right..."

Dad looked more nervous. "S-send this demon back to where he belongs in!"

The guards took Levi by the arms and they threw him to the portal to hell. But my body started moving I jumped in as well.

Levi was there standing.

"Levi what you just said lately... What was it about?", I said as the portal closed.

"There's things in the past that you don't know Hanji.... It's complicated. I'll tell you soon...", he replied and went on ahead. I followed him.

Levi's POV

The demons looked at Hanji horrified at seeing an angel. Nice luck that her mark is covered.

I walked straight to the demonic dirty castle where I was held captive once. I figured out my master will know something about her mark.

When he gained sight of me, he sent guards towards us.

"Hold up.", I said loudly. They stopped and stared.

"Before you go attacking me, I have a question if I may.", I continued. "This girl..."

I pulled Hanji gently infront of me and showed the king the demon mark. The king looked surprised.

"An angel with a demon mark and was able to come here in our world without turning into one.", I said.

Everyone in the room seemed to know what I'm talking about. Even Eren who was just in a corner knew what this was about.

The king walked towards Hanji and gave her a hug. Hanji didn't know what to do. The king was about to explain but then, a report was sent to us. A letter from the angels.

"Don't put your dirty hands on her!", the letter read. "If you do, we'll declare a war like that years ago! And a tragedy will once again happen to our children."

Our king stopped for a while then his face turned from a smile to an angry frown.

"Ready the guards! Equip your weapons!", he commanded. "We have a war to finish."

I grabbed Hanji and dragged her to a place where we'll be safe and where I can clearly tell the story.

Wesat down in an enclosed room and i began.

"Thousands of years ago the angel and demon king were friends. They had a good relationship despite their differences. But everything went wrong when the demon king loved an angel. The angel king didn't agree on it and made a rule about loving the same type. But then he, an angel himself loved a demon. But then, the demon told him that if he wasn't allowed to love, an angel shouldn't love the opposite as well.

That's when they faught. Just over that single, simple issue about love. They began a war and that which side wins can love the opposite. But... Both lose. Both won. They were a tie. So they settled that when the baby comes out, whichever wings he/she owns, that's where they'll know if it's an angel or demon.

They ignored the marks. And now, here are the two childs."

I looked at her. "Sitting here alone together.. Being in a complicated situation."

She then said. "But... who is my real father."

"Your father is the demon and mine is the angel. But since my wings indicated me as a demon, I'm stuck down here while you up there.", I replied.

Hanji couldn't believe the story. She thought for a while.

"You know? I think I'd be better off as a regular human..", she said.

I nodded in agreement.

Just then...

The war started immediately...
