12 Hours left...
Who doesn't like the pungent smell of winter nights?
ME.
I've always hated winter for some reason. Well, maybe because school starts the day after and I start my first day of 10th grade.
Great. The big 10. ONE-ZERO. Sigh.
Let me properly introduce myself.
I'm Theodore Archero. But all my friends call me Theo for short.
I don't know why I said "All my friends". I have only two.
Espin Moriarity and Freddie Finch.
Espin has really pink skin, like she's always blushing. You could say she's about 5'6 or so. She has these blue eyes that always seems to lighten the mood and she's always jumping around and has way more energy than a 14 year old should have.
She's the only daughter of the town mayor and their family is BULKY rich.
Freddie, you could say, is the closest friend I have. He's been with me since kindergarten and I could actually count on him for anything.
He has this huge puffy blonde hair which you could actually tie with a ribbon and really dark eyes. He's about 6 ft.
His dad is a car salesman that works at SpeedCo. Industries. They aren't that rich but they manage to survive with his elder brothers part-time jobs.
So back to my story.
I'm what one might consider 'unpopular'.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a 'nerd' or a 'geek' or any of the smart little toys.
Infact, I don't have HALF a clue of who I am.
I was adopted by the Archeros' when I was 4 and the only thing that comes to my mind when I think of my past is me in my cradle and and a huge and tawny-like body (who I figured was my biological father) just nursing me and telling me everything would be alright.
But eh, It could just be my brain playing tricks on me.
But what I DO know is the present. I'm 5" 10', with all awkward sized hands and legs. I have little tiny freckles all over my face and with pretty much the same physical features all 15 year olds have.
Except I wasn't your average everyday highschool kid. But later about that.
My family, the Archeros', or as my dad likes to call it, 'The Super-family'. I consider us in no way super. Lame and pretty boring. But not super.
Well, it's a supersize family of five. My dad and mom, and my elder brother Alan and who could forget my super annoying 6 year old sister; Erika and then there's me.I'm the only adopted one in the family. But somehow Alan and I look somewhat identical.
So back to the beginning.
'Back to school....to 10th grade.', I sighed nervously.
I woke up from my bunker on the top-side and tip-toed to the balcony so that Alan and Erika wouldn't wake up. It showed 2:15 on my rocket shaped alarm clock.
As I looked at the deep blue-black night sky as if a azure piece of velvet had been lied all over the sky and sprinkled with shining gems, I got those tingly sensations in my stomach. I felt like hurling out a zebra.
The Moon looked calm and peaceful that night.
'It'll be alright..It'll be fun', I comforted myself.
Little did I know my life would COMPLETELY change within the next few days.
